Whyte & Mackay

Whyte & Mackay is a historic blended Scotch brand that is currently part of the holdings of the Alliance Global Group. It was introduced in 1882 by James Whyte and Charles Mackay as the proprietary blend for the company they formed in the same year. The company acquired Dalmore distillery in 1960 and it, along with Fettercairn, Tamnavulin, Jura and Invergordon are key components of the 41 different malt and grain whiskies in its recipe.

The brand has been available in a number of expressions over the years, however its current core range consists of its classic triple-matured blend, and a spirit drink called Light, bottled at just 21.5% ABV and introduced in 2019.
