Whisky Auctioneer offers secure, insured storage services for customers looking to store their bottles with us.
While in our care, you can feel safe in the knowledge that your whisky is insured, looked after and managed by our expert team. Whether you’ve run out of space for your growing collection, need to combine multiple orders for shipping later, or plan to resell in the near future, our storage options are designed for you.
Pricing
Storing with Whisky Auctioneer is simple. Just select the Storage option during the checkout process.
- Storage is charged at 3% of the bottle’s hammer price for the first 90 days.
- After 90 days, storage will be charged at 1% for every additional 30-day period.
Please Note
- There is a minimum storage fee of £5 per bottle (per 30-day period).
- All fees are quoted excluding VAT.

Whether it’s a single bottle or multiple stored lots, we make it simple for you to request shipping or collection. Contact our Client Service Team, and we’ll guide you through each step of the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
You can store your bottles with Whisky Auctioneer for as long as you wish! Storage is charged at 3% (ex. VAT) of the bottle's hammer price for an initial 90 day period. After which, storage will be charged at 1% (ex. VAT) for every 30 days your bottles are in storage with us.

Our storage services give peace of mind to customers who are looking to store their bottles in a secure facility. Whilst under our care, your whisky will be insured and expertly managed by our team.
We are unable to split orders at this time, meaning we cannot store a partial order for you. If you require an order shipment to be split into multiple parts, please contact our Client Services team who can assist further and organise a delayed shipment with our Warehouse team.
Please note though, we may be unable to facilitate all split shipping requests, but please reach out to us and we can explore the best option for you.
Storage is charged in blocks of 90 days, however, you are welcome to remove your bottles from storage whenever you wish.
Please note: If bottles are removed from storage before the 90-day period ends, Whisky Auctioneer cannot provide a partial refund for the remaining storage days.
Our standard storage term runs for 90 days. Your storage fee will not be renewed automatically, however, a member of our team will be in touch when the expiration date is approaching to discuss how you wish to proceed. If you wish to extend your storage term before your 90 days are up, please contact our Client Services team who can advise.
You can extend your storage fee in blocks of 90 days, i.e., 90 days, 180 days, 270 days and so on.
