Bowmore
The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
Spirit of the Isles
A brand of independently bottled Scotch whiskies produced by Liquid Gold Enterprises. Available between 2001 and 2005, the brand was exclusively reserved for single malts from the Islay and Island regions.
Liquid Gold Enterprises
A short-lived independent bottling company that was run by Kilchoman distillery founder, Anthony Wills. It was established in 1998 and operated until 2010, bottling single cask whiskies under the Caledonian Selection, Spirit of the Isles and Celtic Legends brand names.
