Gordon & MacPhail

Gordon & MacPhail is the trading name of Speymalt Whisky Distributors and is one of Scotland's most historically significant whisky companies. Established in Elgin in 1895, it was one of the first to champion the single malt category of Scotch whisky and was an early promoter of brands such as Glenlivet, Macallan and Glen Grant. Today it operates two malt distilleries of its own: Benromach which it acquired in 1993, and The Cairn which it opened in 2022.

As well its own single malt brands, the company continues to operate as an independent bottler and its current portfolio includes products such as Connoisseurs Choice, Private Collection, Discovery and the Distillery Labels series.
