Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Produced between 2006 and 2014, these versions of the Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 23-year-old were bottled at Buffalo Trace distillery by the Sazerac Company and contain the last reserves of the Van Winkle family's Stitzel-Weller casks. Bottlings from 2015 onwards switched to bourbon produced in-house at Buffalo Trace.
Pappy Van Winkle
A brand of wheated Kentucky straight bourbon and one of the most sought-after names in American whiskey. It was introduced in 1994 by Julian Van Winkle III and is named after his now legendary grandfather, Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle Snr, and it is available in 15-, 20- and 23-year-old expressions.
Sazerac Company
A historic American spirits company established in 1869 by Tomas H. Handy. It is headquartered in New Orelans, Louisiana and has distilleries in the US states of Kentucky, Virginia, Maine and Tennessee, as well as in Canada and Ireland.
