The Berghoff

The Berghoff is a historic restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded by a German immigrant called Herman Berghoff in 1898 and remains under his family's ownership to this day.

The company began acquiring its own private stocks of whiskey in the 1930s after the repeal of Prohibition, and went on to commission its own brand from Stitzel-Weller distillery in the 1970s.
