Speyburn 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna

The mythical 12 year old Flora and Fauna release by Speyburn.  

Distillerys Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s, when DCL sold the distillery to Inverhouse distillers this bottle was discontinued, quickly making it the rarest of the Flora and Fauna bottlings.

Suntory Blended Whisky Limited Edition / Wa-Kyo

This 2015 release is a special exclusive Suntory release for classy Japanese supermarket Shinanoya. 

Included in the blend are old mizunara casked Yamazaki going back as far as 1984. 

The logo was designed by famed Japanese calligrapher Master Shoshu.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Korea Sa Shin Do

A special edition bottle of Johnnie Blue label... the icon of whisky world wide. 

This Blue Label is bottled in a pocelain decanter that was bottled for the South Korean market. On each of the four sides of the decanter is a dipiction of a guardian god from Korean mythology. 

Hyunmu guards the north, The Blue Dragon gaurds the east, Jujak (a phoenix) guards the south and The White Tiger guards the East.  

Very unusually for Johnnie Walker, this has been bottled at cask strength. 

Jura 1984 30 Year Old

George Orwell, the author of 1984, who in 1948 moved to the isolation of Jura to write has inspired the release of this 30 year Old Jura distilled in 1984.

This was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks for 22 years before 6 years in Gonzalez Byass Matusalem sherry then a final two years in Amoroso and Apostoles Sherry barrels. 

One of 1,984 bottles. 

St Magdalene 1970 Rare Malt 23 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

A bottle of the earlier St Magdalene bottled as part of the Rare Malt Selection, distilled in 1970 and bottled around 1993.

Strathmill 1962 Douglas Laing 45 Year Old

Distilled April 1962 and bottled in May 2007. 

One of 317 bottles from a single sherry butt.

Strathisla 1963 Gordon and Macphail

A well aged Strathisla distilled in 1963 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail and bottled in 2003. 

Sazerac 18 Year Old (Fall 2012)

Johnnie Walker Excelsior

Johnnie Walker Excelsior is an incredibly hard to find Johnnie walker distilled in 1947 and released at around 50 years old in 1997.

Composed of three carefully selected single malts that have been married in European oak casks. The cleaver design of the crystal decanter moves along with the motion of the ocean and its 'swing' style box will ensure it cant fall over.

St Magdalene / Linlithgow 1975 Signatory Vintage 24 Year Old

A rare Signatory bottling of Linlithgow, the 'other' name for St Magdalene distillery which was situated in the town of Linlithgow.

Distilled on the 2nd of June 1975 and bottled 24 years later on the 15th of July 1999 from single cask #9613/2.

Jura 1973  Single Cask 30 Year Old

A stunning presentation of Isle of Jura 30 year old distilled on 10th November 1973 and matured in a single Gonzales Byass Oloroso sherry butt.

Single cask #3155 yileded only 468 bottles , this is bottle number 13.

John Scott & Millers 35 Year Old Blend / Highland Park and Invergordon

A wonderful whisky, very rich and very powerful - a great blend of some legendary whiskies.

This exceptional blend was put together by combining five cask of Highland Park from 1965 and 1968 and 37 year old Invergordon grain whisky.

The five casks were part of the final 12 purchased from this era by the late Robert Miller, former proprietor of John Scott & Miller Ltd.

A rather splendid bottling of St Magdalene distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2006. Matured in Bourbon and finished in port.

Released under the Linlithgow name for the distillery, distilled on 6th October 1982 and bottled on 2nd June 2008.

Distilled in October 1982 and bottled in 2008 after being matured in cask 1622.

Johnnie Walker King George V 

Bottled to celebrate the first Royal Warrant being granted to John Walker and Sons Ltd to supply scotch whisky to the British Royal Household in 1934.  Johnnie Walker King George V was designed to replicate Johnnie Walker from this day, some Port Ellen was used in the making of this alongside Cardhu, Royal Lochnagar and some well aged grain whisky.

Presented in a stunning decanter and packaging.

Sullivan's Cove Port Matured Cask Strength Batch HH0544

Sullivan's Cove has quickly become an very desirable distillery particularly after one of their releases being awarded the best single malt in the world 2014, at the World Whisky Awards - the first time that a Scottish whisky was not given this award.  That's not all it has received great acclaim elsewhere from whisky writers/reviews.

This is a Port matured whisky.
