The Auriverdes (Auri = Gold and Verdes = Green) is named after the Brazilian sports teams colours whilst also referring to Ardbeg's iconic green bottle and the 'golden' whisky inside.

I.W. Harper 12 Year Old Bourbon

The I.W is named after Isaac Wolfe Bernheim, who founded the brand. With his brother he helped establish Louisville, Kentucky as a centre for Bourbon production.  

This brand has now been revived by Diageo. 

This is a Japanese Import bottling.

A very nice 70s blend produced in Port Dundas, Glasgow, by the Inverdice Scotch Whisky Co Ltd.

Ambassador De Luxe Scotch Whisky 1950/1960s

A blended Scotch whisky from the 1950s or 1960s, produced by Tayol and Ferguson in Glasgow.  

Scapa distillery went into voluntary liquidation in 1934 and did not resume production until 1936 when the distillery was acquired by Bloch Brothers Ltd (John & Sir Maurice),  The brothers used Scapa in their blend of Ambassador Scotch whisky. They sold Scapa in 1954 to Hiram Walker who licensed Scapa to its subsidiary company Taylor & Ferguson Ltd. This saw the Ambassador brand produced with Scapa Malt, from Taylor and Ferguson Ltd.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan 

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool to the north of Islay. 

This is the official release of Corryvreckan following the Committee bottling.

This expression joined the Ardbeg 10 year old and Uigeadail as an ongoing product, replacing the Airgh Nam Beist.

This Ardbeg was matured in predominantly French oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak casks.

Against The Grain \"Eagle Eyed\" 1994 15 Year Old

An independant bottling from the legendary wine merchant, Oddbin's.  The Against the Grain series consisted of 9 bottles from distilleries they 'tried' to keep secret, we are unsure about this distillery though, suggestions?

Distilled on 22nd September 1994 and bottled on 10th March 2010 as 15 year old, matured exclusively in a refill Bourbon cask #10893.

When browsing the bidding history on a specific lot,  the list of recent bidders is shown as 'anonymised bidders' with the exception of any bids placed through your account - which would appear as your username.

When logged into your account your bids are shown with your username, however, other users are not able to see this and you will appear as an 'anonymised bidder'.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
