Taylor & Ferguson

Taylor & Ferguson Ltd was a Scottish blender and distiller, founded in 1820 and officially incorporated as a limited company in 1931. It was acquired shortly after by Bloch Brothers who helped popularise its Ambassador brand of blended Scotch in the United States. It remained a subsidiary of Bloch Brothers following the acquisition of its parent company by Hiram Walker & Sons in 1954, and was also assigned the license to the Scapa distillery.

Several subsequent mergers and acquisitions brought the company into the Pernod Ricard holdings in 2005 and it was eventually dissolved in 2011.
