Akkeshi Foundations

The fourth and final New Born in the Akkeshi Foundations series was a blend of malt and grain spirit, aged for 13 to 30 months in sherry barrels. The malt was distilled at Akkeshi and accounts for 60% of the blend, whereas the grain portion was imported unaged from Scotland and matured at the distillery in its own casks.

The debut bottling from the Akkeshi distillery, this is a non-peated single malt spirit that was aged for no more than 15 months.

Bottled in January 2019, the third New Born in the Akkeshi Foundations series was a non-peated spirit, aged for 8 to 23 months in mizunara oak barrels from Hokkaido.

Released in 2018, the second New Born from the Akkeshi Foundations collection is comprised of spirit aged in bourbon barrels for 8 to 17 months.
