Akkeshi Daikan World Blend - 24th Solar Term
Daikan is a a blend of malt and grain whiskies from Japan and other countries. It has been aged in a complex combination of casks such as Quercus Serrata (a unique type of oak), ex-sherry, bourbon and wine barrels.
Akkeshi
A Japanese distillery located in the town of the same name on the island of Hokkaido, specially selected for its similar climate to those of the Scottish Outer Hebrides. Its peated and non-peated single malt is all aged on the island.
Kenten Jitsugyo Co
A Japanese company that is primarily engaged with the import and distribution of food products in Japan. The company marketed some of its own whisky brands before opening the Akkeshi distillery in 2016.
