Venture Whisky

Venture Whisky is the parent company set up in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto in order to obtain the stocks from his grandfather's former distillery, Hanyu. In 2008 it opened its own distillery called Chichibu, which as of 2019 was significantly expanded to increase production capacity.

The company markets its Chichibu single malt, as well as that from Hanyu and some blended malts under its Ichiro's Malt banner. It also offers a number of blended whiskies which it calls Ichiro's Malt & Grain.
