The Brown-Foreman distillery is located in Shively, Kentucky and is the flagship production facility for the Brown Foreman Corporation's American whiskey brands. It was acquired by the company in 1940 having been built just five years prior by the Old Kentucky Distillery Company. The original plant was replaced with the current one between 1954 and 1955, with subsequent expansions in the 1960s and early 2020s.
The distillery primarily produces whiskey for the Old Forester brand, as well as other labels such as Woodford Reserve and King of Kentucky.
