William Grant & Sons Ltd is a historic family-owned spirits company, established in Speyside in 1887. Today it is one of the biggest in Scotland and has interests in a number of spirits categories that in addition to whisky include Hendrick's gin and Sailor Jerry rum.
The company's Scotch whisky portfolio includes the Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Ailsa Bay single malt brands. It also owns the Girvan grain distillery in order to provide filling for its Grant's blended Scotch labels. Elsewhere its whisky interests include the Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey brand, Hudson bourbon in New York and Gibson's Canadian whisky.
