Bruichladdich Distillery Company
Bruichladdich Distillery Company Ltd is a Scottish spirits company within the holdings of French multinational, Rémy Cointreau. It was originally founded in 2000 by a group of Islay land-owners in partnership with the independent bottler, Murray McDavid, which became part of its group in the process. Rémy Cointreau acquired the company in 2012, selling Murray McDavid to Aceo the following year.
The company operates the Bruichladdich distillery which it re-opened in 2001. It produces three single malt brands there as well as a dry gin called The Botanist.
