Jim McEwan's Celtic Heartlands
Jim McEwan's Celtic Heartlands was premium brand of Scotch whiskies from the Bruichladdich Distillery Company's independent bottling arm, Murray McDavid. It was launched in 2002 and featured both single malts and single grains, selected by their former master distiller, Jim McEwan.
The whiskies in the series ranged from between 27- and 42-years-old and included sought-after examples of Macallan, Glenlivet and Highland Park alongside rare single malts from closed distilleries like Lochside and Banff. The brand's final releases were bottled in 2010, with Murray McDavid later sold from the Bruichladdich Distillery Company group by Rémy Cointreau in 2013.
