Old Bannockburn
Old Bannockburn was a brand of Scotch whisky bottlings introduced in the early 1970s by Deanston Distillers Ltd. Confusingly, the brand was used to bottle both blended malts, and the earliest single malt from Deanston distillery. The latter was relaunched as the Deanston Malt brand in 1974 by Invergordon Distillers, who continued to offer Old Bannockburn as an export market blend through the 1980s and into the early 1990s.
The brand was mostly available as a non-age statement in both its single malt and blended malt forms, with a 5-year-old latterly introduced for the Italian market.
