Banff
A malt distillery that was located in the Highland region of Scotland and operated until 1983 when it was closed by the Distillers Company. Primarily run for the provision of blended Scotch brands, it has only been officially released once and is generally confined to independent bottlings.
Rarest of the Rare
Rarest of the Rare was an independent brand of single malt and grain Scotch whiskies produced by the bottler, Duncan Taylor. Produced until 2012, the label was reserved for casks in the company's inventory that were filled at since-closed distilleries.
Duncan Taylor
Established in 1936, Duncan Taylor is a historic Scotch whisky company. A cask broker and independent bottler, its brands include the Dimensions, The Octave and Rare Auld single casks, and the blended Scotch labels such as Black Bull and The Big Smoke.
