Rarest of the Rare

Rarest of the Rare was a premium single cask Scotch whisky brand produced by the independent bottler, Duncan Taylor. As a historic cask broker, the company is renowned for the depth and age of much of its Scotch whisky stocks, and the Rarest of the Rare label was reserved for casks filled at distilleries that had since been shut down.

Bottled between 2004 and 2012, the brand included both silent distilleries as well as unusual single malts from decommissioned stills such as Mosstowie and Glencraig.
