Macallan 2004 Exceptional Cask #11650-02 / US Import 75cl

The Macallan Exceptional Casks collection was bottled in 2017 exclusively for the United States and parts of Asia. This range takes it's name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s which are often described as some of 'the greatest Macallan of them all \".

Distilled on the 16th October 2004 and bottled over 12 years later after maturing in single European Oak Sherry Butt #11650 (Ref: 2017/ESB-11650/02).

Selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno, this was the second cask to be reserved for the 2017 series on 2nd June of the same year.

One of only 298 bottles.

Distilled on the 4th March 2002 and bottled over 15 years later after maturing in single European Oak Sherry Butt #2339 (Ref: 2017/ESB-2339/05)

Selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno, this was the fifth cask to be reserved for the 2017 series on 2nd June of the same year.

One of only 286 bottles.

Macallan 2005 Exceptional Cask #5234-09

The Macallan Exceptional Casks were bottled in 2017 mostly for the United States and parts of Asia. This range takes it's name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s, which are often described as some of \"the greatest Macallan of them all.\"

Distilled on the 30th March 2005 and bottled over 12 years later after maturing in single European oak sherry butt #5234 (Ref: 2017/ESB-5234/09).

Selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno, this was the ninth cask to be reserved for the 2017 series on 24th July of the same year.

One of only 468 bottles.

Macallan 2003 Exceptional Cask #8841-03

The Macallan Exceptional Casks collection was bottled in 2017 exclusively for the United States and parts of Asia. This range takes it's name from a number of single cask bottlings Macallan released during the 1990s which are often described as some of 'the greatest Macallan of them all \".

Distilled on the 6th August 2003 and bottled over 14 years later after maturing in single European Oak Sherry Butt #8841 (Ref: 2017/ESB-8841/03)

Selected by Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno, this was the third cask to be reserved for the 2017 series on 2nd June of the same year.

One of only 612 bottles.

The picture on the label depicts a ATP Advanced Turbo Prop.

Imported to the US by Premiere Wine Merchants, NY.

Macallan Cask 888

Limited to a very exclusive 720 bottles, the exclusive Cask 888 was bottled from a single sherry-seasoned cask on the 8th August 2008 (08.08.08).  To continue with the theme of this bottle, the strength is 48.8%.

The decanter has been created by the cosmetic glass manufacturer Stolzle Flaconnag. For its part, Lalique displayed its collection, Le Noir Crystal especially for the launch of Cask 888.

A very well-aged Macallan, matured in a mixture of European and American oak casks.

Macallan Masters of Photography / Mario Testino

A very limited Macallan, bottled from 6 unique single casks picked by Macallan Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno. Only 1000 bottles were produced.

This Masters of Photography release celebrates the famous Peruvian fashion and portrait photographer, Mario Testino.

Presented in a magnificent glossy black case, the set contains prints captured by Mario himself, as well as a secret compartment which contains a set of 6 single cask miniatures, each representing one of the six Macallan pillars.

Please note there will be a shipping charge for 8 bottles with this lot due to the combined weight of the packaging.

Macallan 18 year old distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1990.

Imported to the Italian market by Giovinetti & Figli.

Mortlach 1936 Gordon and MacPhail 45 Year Old / Co. Pinerolo Import

This 1936 Mortlach was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in the early 1980s, within their Connoisseurs Choice range.

Released at an impressive 45 years old.

This is an Italian release for Co. Import, Pinerolo.

Macallan Archival Series Folio 1

The new limited release from Macallan that's only available from the distillery. 

The distillery staff have confirmed that the liquid is 12 years old, Sherry Cask matured and limited 2000 bottles. Although none of these are stated on the packaging. 

This is the first in a range of whiskies recreating the old advertising styles of Macallan, this imitating an advertisement from the 1980s and early 1990s.

Presented with a book, and in a beautifully designed book-shaped tin.

Macallan Coronation / 2 x 35cl

The latest in the Macallan royal bottlings, this release from June 2013 consists of two 35cl bottles with a box designed by David Holmes. One bottle depicts the queen from 1953, matured solely in American oak sherry seasoned casks, while the other matured in Spanish sherry seasoned casks.  Only 1,953 boxes were produced to convey the date of the coronation in 1953.

Only available on Macallan’s website or at the distillery this quickly became one of the fastest selling releases of 2013.

Macallan 1990 SMWS 27 Year Old 24.129

A single cask Macallan from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Distilled on the 7th of May 1990. This was matured first in an Oloroso sherry butt before being finished in a fist fill Pedro Ximenez butt.

The classic 18 year old Macallan, distilled in 1986.

1986 was the last year that Macallan presented the whisky in the round tube, the 1986 vintage was also released in the purple box. This is the latter.

Macallan 1980 18 Year Old 75cl / US Import

The classic Macallan 18 year old, distilled in 1980, matured in Sherry Wood and bottled in 1998.

This is a Remy Amerique import for the US market.

Midleton Dair Ghaelach Bluebell's Forest Tree 1-6 6 x 70cl

The second release of the Dair Ghaelach range from Midleton. This time the virgin Irish oak barrels used for finishing this whiskey were harvested from Bluebell Forest on Castle Blunden Estate, County Kilkenny.

Amazingly, each cask can be traced back to one of six individual 130 year old oak trees from the forrest. 

This is a collection of bottles from Trees 1 through 6.

The Speymalt series by Gordon and MacPhail provide an excellent and affordable way to experience vintage Macallan without having to pay through the roof.
