Ichiro's Malt & Grain Kiyosato Field Ballet 27th Anniversary Hanyu / Kawasaki

Bottled for the 27th Anniversary of the Kiyosato Field Ballet.

This blend from Ichiro Akuto of the Chichibu distillery was created from a single cask of 1990 Hanyu and a single cask of 1982 Kawasaki.

In recent years, due to the known similarity between W.L. Weller and Van Winkle, and Weller's resulting huge increase in popularity and demand, the William L. Weller bottlings have become increasingly harder to get hold of.

The 2016 bottling features 145 barrels which were filled in the winter of 2003 at 114 Proof (57%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2016 after 12 years and 7 months of aging at 135.4 Proof (67.7%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and North Dakota malted barley.

The 2016 bottling features 105 barrels which were filled in the spring of 2003 at 114 Proof (57%), with the whiskey drawn in autumn 2015 after 12 years and 3 months of ageing at 134.6 Proof (67.3%) and bottled unfiltered.  The malt bill features Grade #1 and #2 Kentucky corn, North Dakota wheat and North Dakota malted barley.

Invergordon 1972 Dornoch Castle 43 Year Old Single Cask #37​

A Single Cask independent bottling of Invergordon Grain Whisky distilled in 1972 by the guys who are starting the new Dornoch Distillery.

A very limited bottling of which only 218 bottles were released; 118 of these were sent to Japan the remaining 100 bottles were sold exclusively at the Dornoch Castle Hotel, of which we are told around 20 were consumed in the bar!

Wolfburn Single Peated Quarter Cask / Potstill Exclusive​

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This limited single cask bottling was released exclusively for Austrian Whisky Store, Potstill. Matured in a quarter cask that previously contained a peated spirit. Selected by distillery manager Shane Fraser, this is one of only 167 bottles.

Willet Family Estate Reserve 8 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Rye

A single cask rye matured in White Oak barrel #1408 for 8 years. 

Willet bottle some exceptional whiskies, they are incredibly difficult to find outside of the US.

Islay Mist 8 Year Old 1970s

Islay Mist was originally created on Islay in 1922 to celebrate the 21st birthday of Lord Margadale, the theory was that the intensity of the Islay malts might be too much for all the guests to handle. So, at the time some Speyside whisky and a grain whisky were blended with some Islay malts to create Islay Mist.

Islay Mist has always been incredibly popular, we are excited to offer a great example of this blend from circa 1970's.

Imperial Salon de Shimaji 17 Year Old​

Mothballed in 1998, Imperial distillery has been completely demolished and is becoming increasingly sought after. 

This independently bottled 17 year old was the result of a collaboration between Pen and Shinanoya, bottled under the Salon de Shimaji brand.
