Macallan 1952 Fine and Rare 49 Year Old​

Another fantastic example of old Macallan, The Macallan Fine and Rare Series of whiskies was designed to represent the very best vintages / whisky that Macallan had to offer, dating back as far as 1926.

Distilled in 1952 and bottled from single sherry cask #1250, this is fantastically well-aged at 49 years old.

Unique reference no. c5ajw6, certified by M. Bennet on 6 December 2016.

Karuizawa 1965 Single Sherry Cask 50 Year Old #2372​ 

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

A brand new release from La Maison Du Whisky. A 1965 vintage Karuizawa distilled in 1965 and matured in a sherry cask. 

Bottle number 51 of only 199 produced.

Macallan 1946 Select Reserve 52 Year Old

A truly stunning bottle of Macallan distilled in 1946 and matured for over half a century until bottling. Presented in a gorgeous wooden box, complete with certificate.

Macallan 40 Year Old 2016 Release 

This most rare of Macallan's came into being as a result of the instinct and foresight shown by master whisky maker Bob Dalgarno.

Back in 2006 he and his team were crafting the annual release of the 30 Year Old  Sherry Oak, which involved combining the finest spirit from 27 specially selected casks into nine 'marrying' casks. 

Bob was inspired to fill a tenth cask, which was laid back down and allowed to continue to mature and develop. Assessed again in 2011 it was left for a further 5 years at which point it was deemed ready.

The result, an incredible 40 Year Old, only the second ever non-vintage Macallan released and limited to 500 bottles! Stunning!

The third and final in this famous series, the Gold Bowmore was matured in a mixture of bourbon and sherry casks, to provide a comparison to the more famous Oloroso casks.

Bowmore 1967 Largiemeanoch 12 Year Old

An incredibly rare Bowmore bottled under the Largiemeanoch label for The Howgate Wine Co Ltd., Edinburgh.

This is a legendary bottle of whisky, distilled at Bowmore in 1967 and matured in the finest sherry cask # 2655/6/7 for 12 years.  

This rarely appears at auction and we are delighted to be able to offer this exceptionally rare, mythical bottle of whisky in the current auction.

Clynelish 1965 Duthie for Corti 21 Year Old 75cl / US Import​

Port Ellen 1979 30 Year Old 9th Release 6 x 70cl

The ninth of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1979 and bottled 30 years later in 2009, bottled at cask strength and limited to 5,916 bottles, this case is bottles 1588-1593

Port Ellen is the lost jewel in the Islay crown. Closure in 1983 has enabled this distillery to receive a near mythical amount of love and respect. As stocks get thinner on the ground, these bottles become rarer and rarer.

Included in original cardboard case, with sequential bottle numbers.

Longmorn 1964 Duthie for Samaroli​

A fantastic circa 19 year old whisky, distilled in 1964.

Bottled in 1983 by R.W Duthie & Co of Aberdeen, exclusively for legendary Italian importers Samaroli. 

Bowmore 1957 75cl / US Import

Distilled back in January 1957, this was matured in Bowmore's Number one Vault. The whisky was matured for 38 years and then bottled due to the risk of the liquid falling bellow 40% ABV. So this has been bottled at a natural cask strength, which is a missleading statement when 40.1% is the alcohol by volume. 

The bottle is presented in a crafted wooden box which has it's own lock and key.

Bowmore 1973 43 Year Old​

A 2016 super-premium Bowmore bottling.

Vatting the last 6 remaining bourbon hogsheads of 1973 this joins the ranks of some impressive bottles from that vintage.

Hanyu is a closed Japanese distillery that received a new lease of life from Ichiro Akuto, who bottled the last of the stock in the iconic card range. 

Distilled in 1985 and bottled in 2009, after being aged in a hogshead then finished in a Bourbon barrel.
