An independently bottled Clynelish entitled \"Hay fever in a church hall\"

Distilled May 1984 and bottled 24 years later in August 2008 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. 

Colonel E.H Taylor Seasoned Wood

Hailing from Buffalo Trace, this brand applies methods and mashbills comparable to those introduced by Colonel E. H. Taylor a legendary bourbon distiller from the 1800s.

The Seasoned Wood release is a high-wheat mash bill release bottled at 100 proof, no specifics on age but is 'well over a decade' of maturation.

The casks that provide the name for this whisky underwent a variety of seasoning processes at Independent Stave Company, who consulted on this project.  One set of staves were immersed in an enzyme-rich bath with water heated to 100 degrees, before they were placed into kilns and dried until they reached the appropriate humidity level for crafting into barrels.  Other staves were seasoned outdoors for six months, and a further selection were left outdoors for 12 months before they were made into barrels and filled with small batch wheat recipe Bourbon.

Chichibu 2012 Peated Single Cask #2088 / TWE

A 2017 release from the relatively new and incredibly popular Japanese distillery, Chichibu.

Distilled in 2012, from peated barely, this has been matured in single Hogshead #2088. 

Specially selected for The Whisky Exchange.

Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2016 for Spirits Shop' Selection.

Chichibu 2010 Ichiro's Malt Single Cask #2650 / Oloroso Hogshead Finish

Another new and very rare single cask Chichibu distilled in 2010 and bottled in October 2016.

Matured in a bourbon barrel before being finished in an American White Oak / Oloroso Sherry Hogshead

Only 293 bottles were produced.

Chichibu 2010 Ichiro's Malt Single Cask #2626 / Modern Malt Whisky Market​

Ichiro Akuta is the grand-son of the founder of the famous Hanyu distllery.  In 2007, he built a new whisky distillery 100km northwest of Tokyo.  Located near the old distillery of Hanyu the local climate (humid summers and cold winters) provides excellent maturing conditions for whisky and even though it is a young distillery Chichibu continues to release exceptional whiskies.

This is a single cask release from Fino Sherry hogshead #2626, bottled exclusively for the Modern Malt Whisky Market 2015.

This deep purple decanter of Royal Salute is aged 23 years, and was blended and bottled specially for the Taiwanese market. The exclusive release is a tribute to the natural beauty of Formosa Island.

The packaging was designed by award-winning artist Ching-Wei Liu.

Courvoisier Erte Cognac No.5

A limited edition bottling of Courvoisier designed by the late Art Deco artiste Erte.

This is the eighth release which is known as 'Degustation' and contains eaux-de-vie that dates from the artist's birth 1892.

Ardbeg Twenty One Committee Release 2016

Ardbeg Twenty One was exclusively available to members of the Ardbeg Committee, a members’ club of over 120,000 people created to ensure the distillery never closes again. 

The distillery closed twice during its history – in 1981 and 1996. Mickey Heads, Ardbeg Distillery manager and chairman of the Ardbeg Committee dedicated this release to the Committee Members saying  “Ardbeg Twenty One is a shining example of Ardbeg’s enduring spirit [and] I’m so pleased we can share it with our members,” This Ardbeg uses liquid distilled in the mid-90s, Prior to the time of its last closure. Heads said “The committee have invested much in ensuring the future of the distillery and it’s only right that they should share the rewards of its turbulent past too.”

At around 46 year old this Single Cask Grain Whisky was distilled in 1965 and bottled for Moon Imports in 2011.

A single cask Clynelish distilled in October 1988 and bottled in July 2015 by Duncan Taylor for William & Co. Spirits (China) Limited.

This series consisted of three separate releases: Clynelish, Cragganmore, and Laphroaig.

Each release represents a Chinese Idiom. This bottling represents 'Have passed a competitive examination in life'.

Amrut have released some amazing whiskies, this was highly talked about at the time of release.

The Amrut 100 is a peated single malt bottled at 100 proof. Only 100 bottles were released in each market, this is bottle 93 from batch 1 in The Netherlands.
