Fratelli Rinaldi
Fratelli Rinaldi Importatori was an Italian importer and distributor based in Bologna, Italy. It was founded in 1957 by Rinaldo and Vittorio Rinaldi and the company made its name in the spirits world as the Italian agent for Wodka Wyborowa and most notably, the Macallan single malt brand which it represented from the 1960s through early 1980s. Over the years it also imported Aberlour, Bruichladdich and Glenfarclas, among others.
The company was acquired by the Buton Group in 1983 who were in turn acquired by Grand Metropolitan ten years later. The new parent company sold Fratelli Rinaldi back to family-member, Giuseppe Tamburi and in 2019 it was reorganised as Rinaldi 1957.
