Springbank 50 Year Old Millennium Limited Edition

An older expression from this Campbeltown classic. This was bottled in September 1999 for the Millennium as part of a range of 6 bottles. 

The set comprised whiskies bottled at 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years. 

Springbank 1958 Duthie for Corti 75cl / US Import​

Distilled in way back in 1958, this is a stunning bottling of Springbank!

Bottled in 1983 by R.W Duthie & Co of Aberdeen, this was for the Corti Brothers of Sacramento and Narsai's Restaurant.

Springbank 1966 Local Barley 32 Year Old #492

Springbank produced several 'Local Barley' bottlings from the mid 1960's, all of which have reached legendary status.

Distilled in February 1966 and bottled in April 1998 after being matured in bourbon cask number #1966 492.

Springbank 1964 Adelphi 32 Year Old 

A 1964 vintage Springbank from independent bottlers Adelphi. This was bottled in 1996 at 32 years of age and has spent all its life in a dark sherry cask, creating this gorgeous treacle colour!

Adelphi has a rich history, operating as a distillery in the Gorbals district of Glasgow from 1825, producing spirit from the waters of Loch Katrine. The distillery ceased production in the early 20th century however and several change sin ownership culminating in a takeover by Distillers Company Ltd in 1902. The Adelphi name was revived in 1993 by Jamie Walker, great-grandson of former distillery owner Archibald. With a lineage of whisky expertise he operated Adelphi as private bottling company, which now in the hands of Keith Falconer and David Houston, continues the fine work he began of bottling top quality expressions from Scotland's finest distilleries. This Springbank is yet another fine example of this.

Springbank 1966 Local Barley  #477

Springbank produced several 'Local Barley' bottlings from the mid 1960s, all of which have reached legendary status.

Distilled in February 1966 and bottled February 1997 after being matured in an oak sherry cask number #1966 477

Bottle No. 186

The particular release does not have the well known 'Local Barley' title located anywhere on the label.

Strathisla 1937 Gordon and MacPhail / Fiori Ferdinando Import

Distilled in 1937 at Strathisla distillery and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail.

Imported to the Italian market at some point in the late 1970's or 1980's by Fiori Ferdinando.

Mizunara oak is incredibly rare.

This bottling is the follow up to the famous 2013 release which won 'Best Whisky in the World' according to Jim Murray and his Whisky Bible.

5000 bottles were produced which is less than third of the quantity of the previous release of Yamazaki Sherry Cask, of which there were approximately 16,000 bottles.

Yamazaki Mizunara Cask 2013

Yamazaki has been thrust into the spot light after their Sherry Cask release of 2013 received the title of Best Whisky in the World title from Jim Murray.  

They release several other limited annual releases including this Mizunara matured bottling.    

Mizunara (Japanese Oak) is famous for imparting it's own characteristics onto the whisky stored within them such as sandalwood and other notes.  

Strathisla 1937 Gordon and MacPhail 35 Year Old​ / Pinerolo​ Import

Distilled in 1937 at Strathisla distillery and bottled as a 35 year old by Gordon and MacPhail using their Connoisseur's Choice branding in the 1970s

The bottle number has been removed from this bottle.

Yamazaki 2000 Single Casks / Whisky Shop 3rd Anniversary

A Yamazaki distilled in 2000 aged in a Spanish oak sherry butt and bottled in 2013 for the 3rd Anniversary of the Whisky Shop.

A rare bottling of over proof Springbank from the 1990's, even more unusual as it has been incorrectly bottled with the standard 12 year old label and amended with the accurate measurements.

A SMWS bottling of Yoichi, distilled on 7th November 1987 and bottled after 26 years in 2014.

This bottling is titled \"Fascinating Complexity and Finesse.\"

Matured in a virgin oak puncheon and limited to 452 bottles.

Yamazaki 1991 Owner's Cask #1V70010

Single cask Yamazaki's are very rare and hard to find these days.

This single cask was distilled in 1991 and matured in hogshead #1V70010 until bottling in 2007.

Shinsu Mars Komagatake 1986 Sherry Cask 30 Year Old

A very rare single cask release from The Shinsu Mars distillery, which stopped production in 1992. Shinsu Mars restarted production recently in 2011.

This was distilled in February 1986 and bottled in June 2016, after being matured in a sherry cask. 

One of only 619 bottles.
