Strathisla 1954 Gordon and MacPhail

Distilled over 60 years ago in 1954, this 42 year old Strathisla was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 1996.

It is becoming increasingly difficult, almost impossible to find vintage whiskies these days. Thankfully over the years Gordon and MacPhail have released bottles like this, a great old Speysider distilled over half a century ago.

This 2015 release is a special exclusive Suntory release for classy Japanese supermarket Shinanoya. 

Included in the blend are old mizunara casked Yamazaki going back as far as 1984. 

The logo was designed by famed Japanese calligrapher Master Shoshu.

Strathclyde 1977 SMWS 39 Year Old G10.12​

Single grain Scotch whisky distilled on the 23rd of November 1977 and matured in a 2nd fill ex-Bourbon barrel for 39 years.

\"Chocolate-covered macadamia nuts\" was selected and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

One of only 67 bottles.

Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2007 from a lost Lowland distillery.

During these troubling periods for the distillery not much stock was kept back for the future. A few casks survived, and it's these which make up this spectacular 23 year old release.

Matured in a mixture of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.

A 1968 vintage Strathisla from Duncan Taylor, distilled in April that year and matured for 35 years in cask #2777. Bottled March 2004.

Springbank 1995 Single Cask 20 Year Old / Special Boat Service

This is an incredibly rare bottling of Springbank that was released privately to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Operation Chariot carried out by the Special Boat Service in 1942.

Operation Chariot was the code name of the infamous Commando raid on St Nazaire, a German naval base on the Loire, and was an early test for the newly formed Special Boat Service (SBS). Operation Chariot has been described in history as one of the most successful Commando raids of World War Two, despite the heavy losses.

Bottled in 2012 from cask #542 only 200 bottles were created, this is bottle number 17.  

Please note that these decanters were not sealed at bottling though the stopper is tight and the liquid appears authentic. 

Amrut Spectrum

This whisky has been matured for three years in ex-bourbon barrels, then transferred to a custom cask made from five different types of wood: Ex-Oloroso Sherry, New French Oak, New American Oak, New Spanish Oak, and Ex-Pedro Ximinez Sherry.

Ardbeg 1975 Gordon and MacPhail / Spirit of Scotland

Distilled in 1975 and bottled in 1997 under Gordon and MacPhail's Spirit of Scotland banner.

Imported to Italy by  Degli Artisti.
