Macallan 1952 Fine and Rare 49 Year Old​

Another fantastic example of old Macallan, The Macallan Fine and Rare Series of whiskies was designed to represent the very best vintages / whisky that Macallan had to offer, dating back as far as 1926.

Distilled in 1952 and bottled from single sherry cask #1250, this is fantastically well-aged at 49 years old.

Unique reference no. c5ajw6, certified by M. Bennet on 6 December 2016.

Macallan 1946 Select Reserve 52 Year Old

A truly stunning bottle of Macallan distilled in 1946 and matured for over half a century until bottling. Presented in a gorgeous wooden box, complete with certificate.

Macallan 40 Year Old 2016 Release 

This most rare of Macallan's came into being as a result of the instinct and foresight shown by master whisky maker Bob Dalgarno.

Back in 2006 he and his team were crafting the annual release of the 30 Year Old  Sherry Oak, which involved combining the finest spirit from 27 specially selected casks into nine 'marrying' casks. 

Bob was inspired to fill a tenth cask, which was laid back down and allowed to continue to mature and develop. Assessed again in 2011 it was left for a further 5 years at which point it was deemed ready.

The result, an incredible 40 Year Old, only the second ever non-vintage Macallan released and limited to 500 bottles! Stunning!

Macallan Cask 888

Limited to a very exclusive 720 bottles, the exclusive Cask 888 was bottled from a single sherry-seasoned cask on the 8th August 2008 (08.08.08).  To continue with the theme of this bottle, the strength is 48.8%.

The decanter has been created by the cosmetic glass manufacturer Stolzle Flaconnag. For its part, Lalique displayed its collection, Le Noir Crystal especially for the launch of Cask 888.

Longmorn 1974 Duthie for Samaroli Cask Strength Sherrywood

A legendary independent bottling of heavily sherried Longmorn, distilled in 1974 and bottled for Silvano Samaroli by R.W. Duthie in 1985 at cask strength / 60.8%.

This particular bottling was rated very good by Serge Valentin who scored it an impressive 92 points!

Bottle number 584 of only 600 bottles.

Macallan 1937 Gordon and MacPhail

A very rare bottle of Macallan, distilled in 1937 and exported to Italy between 1971 and 1976.

There are very very few examples of this particular bottle, we have only had a handful of other examples of this type of Macallan bottled by Gordon and MacPhail.

Macallan Private Eye 

Arguably the most desirable/collectable bottle of Macallan, released in 1996 to mark the 35th Anniversary of Private Eye magazine.

The screen-printed label has been designed by the infamous Gonzo artist and Illustrator of Private Eye magazine Ralph Steadman.

The vatting used in this whisky included one cask from 1961 (#1580) among other casks and a total of 5,000 bottles were released. 

Bottle 3,502 of 5,000.

Macallan Diamond Jubilee

Released in 2012 this specially designed bottle bears a unique image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II created by the sculptor Arnold Martin.

The contents of this bottle were specially chosen for the months it was drawn from the casks, 6th February, the Queen's accession and the first week in June, traditionally when the Jubilees are celebrated.  Bottled at 52% in line with the year of the Queen's accession, only 2,012 bottles were released.
