Macallan 1940 Fine And Rare 35 Year Old

Distilled in 1940, originally bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 1975 as a 35 year old, and re-bottled officially by Macallan in 2002.

Legendary spirit which is now part of the Fine and Rare range, the pinnacle of Macallan's excellence.

Macallan 1949 Millennium 50 Year Old

An amazing bottle of whisky, released by Macallan to commemorate the turn of the millenium.   This whisky is among the most desirable and sought after whiskies on the market, it represents the most luxiourious of Macallan, not only in presentation and quality, but also in rarity and age.

Distilled on 14th January 1949 and released as a 50 year old presented in an elegant decanter designed by Caithness Glass along with a stopper and an impressive 'fitted' lockable hard wood case.  The copper used for the ingot and neck were retrieved from No.9 spirit still at Macallan distillery.

Macallan 1959 100 Proof

It's very rare to see these older bottles of Macallan, bottled at cask strength.

Distilled in 1959 this Macallan was bottled at some point in the 1970s by Gordon and MacPhail at 100 UK Proof (57.15%) after being matured in ex-Sherry casks.

Distilled in 1959 this very old bottling of Macallan was bottled in 1978/79, by Gordon and MacPhail at 80 UK Proof.

Macallan 1967 Anniversary Malt 25 Year Old

A stunning example of Macallan 25 year old, distilled in 1967 and bottled 25 years later in 1992. 

Matured exclusively in sherry wood.

Macallan 25 Year Old Decanter

A beautifully presented Macallan Decanter bottled at 25 years old.

The hand blown English crystal decanter is often referred to as the 'Tudor Decanter'.  The writing on the decanter is difficult to make out on the images but carries a large 'M'.

Includes a well designed branded Macallan box and crystal stopper.

Bowmore 1964 Duthie for Corti 22 Year Old

Distilled in 1964, this hails from the era of epic Bowmores. 

Bottled in 1986 by R.W Duthie & Co of Aberdeen, this was for the Corti Brothers of Sacramento. 

Macallan 1965 Anniversary Malt 25 Year Old

A stunning example of Macallan 25 year old,  distilled in 1965 and bottled in 1990,  25 years later.

Matured exclusively in sherry wood.

Michter's Single Barrel 25 Year Old / Bottle #1

A very rare well aged straight rye, the Michter's 25 year old is produced from quality American corn and matured in hand selected charred white oak barrel. 

This 25 year old, presented in an elegant tall bottle with copper colour wax comes from barrel No. 11402D

Only 25 Bottles were released and this is bottle #1!

Bowmore 1964 Bicentenary

Released in early 1979, this legendary bottling of Bowmore contains whisky vatted from a selection of casks distilled in 1964.  This Bicentenary release is widely considered to be one of the best Bowmore's ever bottled.

The selected casks were all matured exclusively in Bowmore's famous No.1 Vault, the original warehouse at the distillery, which dates back to 1779.

The bottle, bearing the Morrison clan coat of arms, is a replica of a hand blown decanter.

Bunnahabhain 1963 40 Year Old Feis Ile 2003

Bottled on the 20th May 2005 as Bunnabahhain's 2003 Feis Isle bottling.

This was a combination of the last seven hogsheads of 1963 Bunnahabhain that were in existence, distilled on 11th May 1963.

The cask yielded 743 bottles at a cask strength of 42.9%.

Please note the rust on the lid and inside of the box.

A very interesting, 1971 bottling of Bowmore which appears to have been matured in sherry casks, by the reknowned importer Sestante.

Macallan Royal Wedding

The first of the Royal releases from Macallan is a limited edition bottling of only 1,000 bottles celebrating the Royal Marriage of Prince William to Catherine Middleton on 29th April 2011.

Bottled from two casks, both filled on 29th April – one from 1996 and one from 1999.

The creation of this special bottle follows the release of a commemorative edition to mark the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. This comprised two casks, one from each of their birth years. At the time, the bottle sold out and today is highly sought-after by collectors of The Macallan around the world.

In keeping with this original bottling, The Macallan commissioned the creative force behind the 1981 bottle, David Holmes, who was also one of the architects of their advertising campaign in the 1980s and the early 1990s, to create the label and packaging design.

Balvenie 1966 Vintage Cask

The vintage cask range of whiskies from Balvenie are a fantastic insight into single casks released from this popular Speysider.

Distilled in 21st May 1966 and bottled on 26th August 1998  this is a specially selected single cask Balvenie, from cask #6434

Bowmore 1965 Rimini 20 Year Old

A rare Bowmore bottled for the Italian market by Intertrade in the 1980s.

Distilled in 1965 and bottled 20 years later in November 1985.

Macallan 18 year old, distilled in 1980, bottled 1998.

Brora 1977 Rare Malt 21 Year Old / 56.9%

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Brora closed in 1983 and over the years has contributed to 13 different Rare Malt releases. 

This bottle was distilled in 1977 and bottled in October 1998 as a 21 year old.

Balblair 1966 38 Year Old

Balblair carries the moto 'The Spirit of the Air', this legendary bottling was distilled in 1966 and bottled exclusively from Spanish oak 38 years later.

Whisky Magazine scored this whisky over 9 points on several occasions.

A Macallan distilled on 4th June 1968 and bottled on 23rd February 1999 by Signatory Vintage.

Bowmore 1991 Keizō Saji's Cask 21 Year Old

In 1991, the then president of Suntory, Mr Keizō Saji, visited Bowmore distillery and oversaw the filling of a single sherry cask.  After the death of Mr Saji in 1999, his son visited Bowmore distillery and donated his fathers cask to the employees of Morrison Bowmore.  

The single sherry cask was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012.  The 21 year old bottling was then given exclusively to employees of Morrison Bowmore.

A rare bottling of Oddbins Exclusive Bowmore, distilled on the 16th June 1973 and matured in two sherry casks.
