Taketsuru 35 Year Old Pure Malt

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru released in 2008, At 35 years this is the oldest Taketsuru and this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, the oldest available stock from both distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 1000 bottles were available only in Japan. 

Ardbeg 1976 Single Cask #2390 Feis Ile 2002

A Single sherry butt #2390 was filled on 24^th November 1976 and matured for 25 years prior to bottling on 27^th April 2002 for the Feis Ile. Only available at Ardbeg Distillery, 494 bottles of this Ardbeg were filled. This is bottle 427 of 494.

The Last Drop 50 Year Old Blend

An amazong blend, not only because the whisky is 50 years old but because it contains over 82 whiskies originally many from now closed distilleries.The whiskies were married at birth, blended at birth - something rarely seen these days which means that for 50 years the flavours have been harmonising and interacting with each other.  Only three casks of the original blend remained (hence the last drop name), the majority of this was sold as a 12 year old years ago.

Bottled by hand and sealed with wax, the bottle of The Last Drop 50 Year Old nestles in a luxurious red leather case, along with a 50 ml miniature, so that owners can taste this magnificent liquid before deciding to open the bottle.

You will also find within the box, a 'secret drawer' containing a signed and numbered leather-bound book, certifying your bottle of The Last Drop 50 Year Old, and with room for your own tasting notes as you explore this extraordinary blend

Ardbeg 17 Year Old Cadenhead's

A very rare Ardbeg bottled at 17 years by WM. Cadenhead when they were based in Aberdeen. These old Ardbeg's are well reknowned for being excellent drams. This bottle was likely distilled in the mid-early 1960s and is an Italian Import. 75cl, 46%

Ardbeg Lord of the Isles 25 Year Old

The Ardbeg Lord of the Isles, 25 year old is a highly sought after; an iconic Ardbeg released between 2002 and 2007.Named after the 'Lord of the Isles' who ruled the Western Isles and parts of Argyll between the 12th and 15th Centuries.

Tamdhu 1963 R.W. Duthie 26 Year Old 75cl / US Import

Although Tamdhu was recently closed and reopened for the third time, this Speyside whisky has a delicious flavour profile. 

This was distilled in 1963 and then bottled in 1989.

Ardbeg Guaranteed 30 Year Old 

This 'Guaranteed' 30 year old Ardbeg was one of the last releases by Allied distillers before Glenmorangie's Takeover in 1997.This release of 30 year old Ardbeg was limited to only 29 casks.

The Drunken Master Blended Malt Whisky Agency / Art Taiwan - Beijing Opera Facial Masks 2 x 70cl​

A joint bottling between the Art Taiwan and the Mash Tun Tokyo by The Whisky Agency.

This lot comprises of two full 70cl whiskies bottled by the Drunken Master. 

A 35 year old blended malt distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2015, alongside a 1992 Burnside bottled in 2015.

\"Burnside\" is Balvenie that has been \"teaspooned\" with Glenfiddich. This practice allowed brand protective Single malt producers to sell casks for blending purposes but ensure that they were not released as independent bottlings.

Taketsuru 25 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Taketsuru, originally introduced in 2012 this blended malt contains casks from Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

It is extremely limited and only 120 bottles were available throughout Europe, this bottle was released in Asia. 

Tony Koerhl Series Creative Whisky Company 4 x 70cl

This collection is called  \"Sketch the soul\" Series by Tony Koehl. They were bottled by the Creative Whisky Company.

The range contains four bottles

• A 20 year old Caperdonich distilled on the 2nd of October 1992 and matured in cask 121137. One of 300 bottles.
• A 17 Year Old Imperial distilled on 22nd May 1995. One on 279 bottles,
• A 23 year old little mill Littlemill distilled in December 1990 and then matured in single cask number 36. One of 176 bottles.
• A 22 year old Glen Keith distilled in 1991 then bottled in 2013. Drawn from single cask number 73663,  which yielded 188 bottles.

Ardbeg Kildalton 1980

Quite simply a legendary Ardbeg, released in 2004, this was a combination of experimental unpeated Ardbeg and lightly peated Ardbeg.  It is known that between 1979 and 1981 these experiements took place.Only a mere 1,300 bottles of Kildalton were bottled and it is certainly a popular collectors item now.

Tomintoul 1966 Signatory Vintage 35 Year Old

An epic looking Tomintoul, distilled on 31st January 1966 and bottled on 27th August 2001 from single cask #533.

Bottle number 104 of 128 presented in a hard wooden case.

Teaninich 1957 Cadenhead's 22 Year Old

Distilled at Teaninich in May 1957 and bottled 22 years later in August 1979.

Auchentoshan 1979 Oloroso Sherry Cask 32 Year Old Limited Edition

A truly stunning whisky to look at and certainly full of colour. Distilled in 1979 and matured fully in a single first fill Oloroso sherry casks, for 32 years.

Every single drop of Auchentoshan is Triple Distilled. This method of distillation collects the most concentrated new make spirit of any Scottish distillery and it gives Auchentoshan its unmistakably light and fruity flavour, the perfect canvas for maturatuion. As the spirit matures, deeper colours, fuller flavours and a distinctive smoothness are unveiled..

This Auchentoshan is a rare malt distilled on the 22nd October 1979 and fully matured in 1st fill Sherry Butts for over 32 years. Bottled at cask strength and non chill-filtered to preserve maximum intensity of flavour from this carefully crafted Whisky. 

Tullibardine 1964 Cadenhead's 27 Year Old 75cl / US Import

A single cask Tullibardine, distilled in 1964 and bottled in March 1992.

Aultmore 20 Year Old Cask Strength

An Aultmore bottled to celebrate the continuation of Duty Free Sales in Europe from the 1st of January 1993. 

Tomatin 1976 Single Cask 38 Year Old / The Whisky Hoop Exclusive

Distilled in 1976 then matured in single Hogshead cask number 31 until the 16th July 2015 when it was bottled.

It's rare to see whisky this age these days.

Ichiro's Blend for Isetan / Hanyu and Kawasaki

An exclusive blend produced by Ichiro Akuto the owner of Chichibu distillery and the man responsible for bringing Hanyu and Karuizawa casks to the market.  

This blend was produced for Isetan, Singapore and is a blend of Hanyu and Kawasaki both closed distilleries.  Aged between 12 and 35 years old, released October 2012.

Teeling 1988 Centenary Collection 24 Year Old

This limited release Teeling bottle to mark the Centenary of the start of World War 1, this is the inaugural release which will be followed by further releases each year until 2018.

A single cask from 1988 was chosen which yielded 250 bottles.Cask #10514.

Tullibardine 1964 Cadenhead's 32 Year Old 75cl / US Import

Distilled in November 1964 at Tullibardine distillery in the Highland region and the bottled by Cadenhead's in March 1997. 

This whisky was matured in a oak cask.

We rarely see vintages like this from Islay these days. A limited edition, distilled in 1975 and bottled by Wilson and Morgan in 2002.

Since 1992 the independant whisky bottler Wilson & Morgan has offeed a rare selection of fine Scottish Malt-Whiskies to connoisseurs all over the world. Only the best malts of Scotland are carefully selected at peak maturity and bottled without chill-filtration and no caramel added. There is often no continuity of such selected bottlings which may only consist of a few mature casks, which once consumed, are \"gone forever\".

Ardbeg 1978 Gordon and MacPhail 

Bottled by Gordon and MacPhail as part of the Connoisseurs Choice collection, this Ardbeg was distilled in 1978 and bottled 27 years later in 2005.

Connoisseurs Choice is a range of single malt whiskies from the various regions of Scotland including: Highland, Speyside, Islay, Lowland and the Islands.

Talisker 1986 Secret Stills No. 1.2 Isle of Skye

As with the rest of the Secret Stills range this single malt is not named, however they do offer a clue that it was distilled at Carbost on the Isle of Skye. Will we ever solve this mystery?

This Talisker, was distilled in 1986 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail 21 years later in 2007.

Limited to 1860 bottles, pulled from casks 1361 - 1363.

Ardbeg Alligator Committee Reserve For Discussion

Released for discussion by the Ardbeg Committee.

Released in June 2011, Ardbeg Alligator takes its name from the aggressive charring of the American casks the whisky was matured in.  This charring level is known as the Alligator char because the cracking of the wood under the heat looks similar to the skin of an Alligator.

Auchroisk 1974 Rare Malt 28 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Auchrosik was distilled in 1974  and bottled 28 years later.

Inverleven 1968 SMWS 25 Year Old 20.5 French Import

A May 1968 vintage from closed Lowland distillery Inverleven, bottled by SMWS in January 1994.

We believe the L before the 20.5 designates that this particular bottling was for the French market.

Arran Peacock 'Icons of Arran'

The original Icon of Arran whisky, released in 2009 this quickly became a popular collectors/investors item. Distilled in 1996, matured in sherry casks and bottled in 2009, only 6,000 were released.

The Iconic Peacock that roams the grounds at the Isle of Arran Distillery has become an enduring symbol of this distinctive Whisky. Its  vivd character is reflected in this glorious single malt, from 20 casks chosen exclusively by the Distillery Manager. This 1996 distillation, aged for 12 years, is typically Arran in style, with orchard fruits and rich vanilla sweetness followed by a spicy twist.

Invergordon 1972 Whisky Broker 43 Year Old

A Single Cask independant bottling of Invergordon Grain Whisky distilled in 1972 by the guys who are starting the new Dornoch Distillery.

A very limited bottling of which only 218 bottles were released; 118 of these were sent to Japan the remaining 100 bottles were sold exclusively at the Dornoch Castle Hotel, of which we are told around 20 were consumed in the bar!

Teaninich 1972 Rare Malt 23 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1972 and bottled 23 years later, as usual with the Rare Malt Selection a healthy abv of 64.95%.
