Ardbeg 1976 Single Cask #2390 Feis Ile 2002

A Single sherry butt #2390 was filled on 24^th November 1976 and matured for 25 years prior to bottling on 27^th April 2002 for the Feis Ile. Only available at Ardbeg Distillery, 494 bottles of this Ardbeg were filled. This is bottle 427 of 494.

Ardbeg 17 Year Old Cadenhead's

A very rare Ardbeg bottled at 17 years by WM. Cadenhead when they were based in Aberdeen. These old Ardbeg's are well reknowned for being excellent drams. This bottle was likely distilled in the mid-early 1960s and is an Italian Import. 75cl, 46%

A limited edition bottling of Courvoisier designed by the late Art Deco artiste Erte.

This is the eighth release which is known as 'Inedit' and contains eaux-de-vie that dates from the artist's birth 1892.

Ardbeg Lord of the Isles 25 Year Old

The Ardbeg Lord of the Isles, 25 year old is a highly sought after; an iconic Ardbeg released between 2002 and 2007.Named after the 'Lord of the Isles' who ruled the Western Isles and parts of Argyll between the 12th and 15th Centuries.

Ardbeg Guaranteed 30 Year Old 

This 'Guaranteed' 30 year old Ardbeg was one of the last releases by Allied distillers before Glenmorangie's Takeover in 1997.This release of 30 year old Ardbeg was limited to only 29 casks.

Chartreuse de Tarragona Yellow Label 1951-1959

Originally created in 1605 by monks using a recipe for an elixir of long life. 

Produced between 1904-1989 in Tarragona (Spain) after the Carthusian Monks were exiled from France. In 1989 the distillery in Tarragona closed down and the production of this liquor returned to France. Nowadays the bottles produce in the distillery of Tarragona have become one of the most expensive and sought after liquors in the world. The recipe contains more than 130 different plants and flowers, the Mediterranean character of the Tarragona distillery is bottled in this unique and limited liquor.

We estimate this bottle to be from the 1950s.

Ardbeg Kildalton 1980

Quite simply a legendary Ardbeg, released in 2004, this was a combination of experimental unpeated Ardbeg and lightly peated Ardbeg.  It is known that between 1979 and 1981 these experiements took place.Only a mere 1,300 bottles of Kildalton were bottled and it is certainly a popular collectors item now.

Chichibu 2009 Original Quarter Cask #388

This is from the new Japanese distillery Chichibu. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2014, this has been matured in a Chibidaru cask. 
Chibidaru are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed.

Caperdonich 1965 Cadenhead's 12 Year Old

A wonderful old bottling of Caperdonich, from the late 1970s.

Distilled in October 1965 and bottled in November 1977 .

Cragganmore 1966 Secret Stills No. 2.1 Speyside

Gordon Macphails are bad at keeping secrets, This single malt is from a distillery built on Ballindalloch Castle estate, in the heart of Speyside. This narrows down your options to one distillery!

A 40 year old Cragganmore is a secret we would not keep either.

Auchentoshan 1979 Oloroso Sherry Cask 32 Year Old Limited Edition

A truly stunning whisky to look at and certainly full of colour. Distilled in 1979 and matured fully in a single first fill Oloroso sherry casks, for 32 years.

Every single drop of Auchentoshan is Triple Distilled. This method of distillation collects the most concentrated new make spirit of any Scottish distillery and it gives Auchentoshan its unmistakably light and fruity flavour, the perfect canvas for maturatuion. As the spirit matures, deeper colours, fuller flavours and a distinctive smoothness are unveiled..

This Auchentoshan is a rare malt distilled on the 22nd October 1979 and fully matured in 1st fill Sherry Butts for over 32 years. Bottled at cask strength and non chill-filtered to preserve maximum intensity of flavour from this carefully crafted Whisky. 

Chichibu 2010 Ichiro's Malt Single Cask #3867 / IPA Barrel Finished

Another new and very rare single cask Chichibu distilled in 2010 and sold exclusively by Venture Whisky.

Matured in a bourbon barrel before finished in an IPA barrel.

Only 262 bottles.

Aultmore 20 Year Old Cask Strength

An Aultmore bottled to celebrate the continuation of Duty Free Sales in Europe from the 1st of January 1993. 

Compass Box Last Vatted Grain

In the final day before the 2009 Scotch Whisky regulations were enacted (22/11/2009) CompassBox released both this and the \"Last Vatted Malt\". From that day forward the word \"Vatted\" was no longer legitimate and has been replaced with \"Blended\". So now Blended Malts and Blended Grains are the acceptable nomenclature.

This is a \"vatting\" of  42 year old Invergordon, 29 year old Carsebridge, 20 year old Port Dundas and 14 year old Cameron Bridge.

Carsebridge 1964 Gleann Mor 52 Year Old

A 52 year old Carsebridge, distilled on the 10th of January 1964 and bottled at 52 years of age by Glen Mor.

This is a very old single grain from a now closed distillery. 

One of 164 bottles. 

Chichibu 2010 Whisky Talk 2015 / Vanishing Animal Owl

Another new and very rare Chichibu distilled in 2010 for Whisky Talk 2015. 

Matured in 1st fill bourbon and a 3rd fill Puncheon.

Clynelish 17 Year Old Manager's Dram 1998

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

This 17 year old Clynelish was matured in sherry casks and selected by the distillery manager.

Bottled 23rd November 1998.

Caperdonich 1968 Signatory Vintage 30 Year Old Millennium Edition

Distilled in 1968 and matured in a single oak cask for 30 years before being bottled in November 1999 just in time for the Millennium.

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt Mizunara Heads 2011 #1429

Distilled in 2011 and matured in Mizunara wood, the Ichiro name would imply that this is a Chichibu. 

Caol Ila 1977 Cadenhead's 16 Year Old Cask Strength Single Cask

A single cask Caol Ila distilled in July 1977 and bottled in November 1993.

Chichibu 2009 Chibidaru Single Cask #287 / Whisky Live Tokyo 2012

This is from the new Japanese distillery Chichibu. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2013, this has been matured in Chibidaru casks. Chibidaru are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks just have staves removed, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed. 

Released exclusively at Whisky Live Tokyo, 2012, this single cask Chichibu yielded on 164 bottles, this is bottle number 6.

Cask Reserves Blended Malt Gleann Mor 40 Year Old

'A Rare Find' indeed. This is a blended malt whisky produced by Gleann Mor that consisits of single malts no younger than 40 years old! A very complex and interesting dram to try for sure.

Distilled, matured, and hand bottled in Scotland.

Chichibu 2010 Ichiro's Malt Cask #702 / Asta Morris

A fantastic label design once again from Akuto Ichiro.  Bottled exclusively for Asta Morris in Belgium.

Distilled in 2010 and matured in a 1st fill virgin hogshead number 702 before being bottled in 2016.

We rarely see vintages like this from Islay these days. A limited edition, distilled in 1975 and bottled by Wilson and Morgan in 2002.

Since 1992 the independant whisky bottler Wilson & Morgan has offeed a rare selection of fine Scottish Malt-Whiskies to connoisseurs all over the world. Only the best malts of Scotland are carefully selected at peak maturity and bottled without chill-filtration and no caramel added. There is often no continuity of such selected bottlings which may only consist of a few mature casks, which once consumed, are \"gone forever\".

Ardbeg 1978 Gordon and MacPhail 

Bottled by Gordon and MacPhail as part of the Connoisseurs Choice collection, this Ardbeg was distilled in 1978 and bottled 27 years later in 2005.

Connoisseurs Choice is a range of single malt whiskies from the various regions of Scotland including: Highland, Speyside, Islay, Lowland and the Islands.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Caol Ila was distilled in 1977 and bottled in the October 1999 release, again at a high abv of 61.3%.

Coleburn 1983 Signatory Vintage 16 Year Old / Silent Stills

Bottled by Signatory Vintage, this Coleburn was Distilled on 20th April 1983 and bottled from cask #798 on 31st January 2000.

Bottle number 50 of 248.

The Silent Stills packs contain a 70cl bottle, 5cl miniature and replica bung.

Caperdonich 1972 Gordon and MacPhail

Caperdonich, distilled in March 1972 and bottled in January 2010 after maturation in a first fill sherry butt.

Ardbeg Alligator Committee Reserve For Discussion

Released for discussion by the Ardbeg Committee.

Released in June 2011, Ardbeg Alligator takes its name from the aggressive charring of the American casks the whisky was matured in.  This charring level is known as the Alligator char because the cracking of the wood under the heat looks similar to the skin of an Alligator.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Auchrosik was distilled in 1974  and bottled 28 years later.

Arran Peacock 'Icons of Arran'

The original Icon of Arran whisky, released in 2009 this quickly became a popular collectors/investors item. Distilled in 1996, matured in sherry casks and bottled in 2009, only 6,000 were released.

The Iconic Peacock that roams the grounds at the Isle of Arran Distillery has become an enduring symbol of this distinctive Whisky. Its  vivd character is reflected in this glorious single malt, from 20 casks chosen exclusively by the Distillery Manager. This 1996 distillation, aged for 12 years, is typically Arran in style, with orchard fruits and rich vanilla sweetness followed by a spicy twist.

Ardbeg Corryvreckan Committee Reserve

Named after the famous whirlpool to the north of Islay, this release of Corryvreckan was only available to Ardbeg Committee members prior to its repackaging and official release in 2008.Bottled on the 19^th March 2008, only 5000 bottles were released.
