Speyburn 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna

The mythical 12 year old Flora and Fauna release by Speyburn.  

Distillerys Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s, when DCL sold the distillery to Inverhouse distillers this bottle was discontinued, quickly making it the rarest of the Flora and Fauna bottlings.

Suntory Blended Whisky Limited Edition Houga

Suntory release of blended whiskies apparently including Sherry casked whiskies from Hakushu, Chita and Yamazaki from as far back as 1984.  

Bottled for the Kinko Liquor Store. 

One of 500 Bottles.

Daly's Tullamore 1952 Cadenhead's 38 Year Old

Today Tullamore Dew is a very popular Irish blend, however historically Tullamore was a historic site for distilling since the 1780s with a distillery being built on the site in 1829. This Daly's distillery produced a range of whiskies.

The Dew took it's name from Daniel E Williams, the hugely successful manager of the distillery who worked there over a 60 year stretch. 

The distillery operated until 1954 when it closed. This whisky was distilled in 1952 and bottled in 1991, this 38 year old was bottled by Cadenhead's at cask strength.

Distilled in 1966 and then bottled in 1996 by Gordon and MacPhail.

St Magdalene 1982 Cadenhead's 32 Year Old

A 32 Year old St Magdalene, distilled in 1982 bottled at cask strength by Cadenhead. 

Dalmore 25 Year Old

Released in very limited quantities in 2013 the Dalmore 25 year old is matured initially in American white oak before a second maturation in a combination of Palomino Fino sherry butts and first fill bourbon cask. That's not all, these are then married together in bourbon barrels before a final finishing period in Tawny Port pipes.

Dailuaine 1966 Cadenhead's 31 Year Old

A 31 Year Old Dailuanie, that was distilled in 1966 and bottled at cask strength by Cadenhead's in December 1997.

St Magdalene 1979 Rare Malt 19 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

A spectacular bottling of St Magdalene, released as part of Diageo's famous 'Rare Malt Selection'.  

Distilled in 1979 and bottled as a 19 year old at a healthy 63.80%, this is bottle number 2104.

Shinshu Mars 1991 Astronomical Observation 24 Year Old Sherry Cask

The Shinsu Mars distillery stopped production in 1992, in 2011 they started reproducing.

This whisky is a single cask, bottled by Whisky Talk Fukuoka 2015. Distilled in 1991 and matured in single sherry cask #157.

One of 375 bottles. 

Wolfburn Inaugural Release

Located in Thurso, this is the Northern most distillery on the UK manland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013. 

This is their first single malt release.

There have been 875 bottles released, 100 of which were for the UK. This is presented in a hand creafted wooden box.

A whisky to commemorate the wedding of Charles and Dianna in 1981. There is malts from 1948 and 1961 which are the years of Charles and Diana's birth years.

Bottled by the Scottish Liqueur Centre under the Carn Mor range of single malts.

Released under the Linlithgow name for the distillery, distilled on 6th October 1982 and bottled on 2nd June 2008.

Sullivans Cove French Oak Cask Batch HH0521

Sullivans Cove has quickly become an very desirable distillery particularly after one of their releases being awarded the best single malt in the world 2014, at the World Whisky Awards - the first time that a Scottish whisky was not given this award.  That's not all it has received great acclaim elsewhere from whisky writers/reviews.

Dalmore Millennium Release 1263 Custodian 2012 / 1st Release

The first cask to be bottled for Dalmore's custodians, a concept introduced by the distillery for it's followers in 2012.

A trio of casks were filled at midnight on January 1st 2000 and gradually released on their 12th, 15th, and 18th birthday's.

This is the first 'Millennium Release', bottled in 2012 as a 12 year old. Initiallly matured in an American oak ex-bourbon cask, before being finished in a Matusalem oloroso sherry cask.

Distileed at Linlithgow in 1975 and bottled at cask strength / 59.3%.

Dailuaine 1980 Samaroli

A very rare bottling of Dailuaine from the well known Italian bottler Samaroli.

Distilled in February 1980 and bottled in 1998, imported to Italy and distributed by Samaroli.

Matured in single cask #1527, this is bottle number 152 of 390.
