Alberta Distillers
Alberta Distillers Limited is a Canadian distillery best-known for its rye whisky and is owned and operated by Beam Suntory. A massive-scale operation, the distillery buys more rye grain than any other business in western Canada and produces three times as much rye whisky than the rest of the North American continent's distillers combined. In addition, it also produces a number of other whisky styles as well as various different spirits.
The distillery markets its own 100% rye whisky brands called Alberta Premium and Alberta Springs alongside a variety of vodka labels. However, the bulk of its business is contract-distilling and casks from Alberta Distillers are bottled all over Canada and US, counting beloved brand names such as Jefferson's, Whistlepig and Very Olde St Nick among its customers.
