Loch Lomond Distillery Company
The current iteration of the Loch Lomond Distillery Company was incorporated in 2013 and is a non-trading subsidiary of the Loch Lomond Group, which acquired the Glen Scotia and Loch Lomond distilleries, brands and trademarks from the Bulloch family in 2014.
The original Loch Lomond Distillery Company was founded in 1960 as Bowling Bonding Co, a subsidiary of The Littlemill Distillery Company. It changed its name to Loch Lomond Bonding Co after the distillery opened, and to Loch Lomond Distillery Co in 1984. In 1993 it was reorganised by Sandy Bulloch and was intended to consolidate his distilling operations with the wider wine and spirits interests of his Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse company.
