Inchdairnie Distillery Ltd
Inchdairnie Distillery Ltd is a Scottish distillery company, originally founded as John Fergus & Co in 2011 by Ian Palmer. A veteran of the whisky industry, Palmer had identified a gap in the market for a distillery committed to providing bulk supply for third party blenders. Investment was then provided by CES Whisky in 2014, a holding company owned by Copenhagan Fortuna Company in Denmark that had acquired MacDuff International and its portfolio of historic blends in 2011.
The distillery was opened in 2015 and produces two single malts for MacDuff International and other blenders which are called Strathenry and Finglassie. It released its first in-house brand in 2023, a single grain called Ryelaw which will be followed by Kinglassie, Prinlaws and the flagship Inchdairnie single malt in 2025, 2027 and 2029, respectively.
