Griffin Group

The Griffin Group is an American investment company established in 2007 by Tony Fogglio and Keith Greggor. Both former Skyy Vodka exectives, they launched the company with a view to better representing beer and spirits brands in California where they felt too much focus was diverted to wine.

The company acquired Preiss Imports in 2008 and the Anchor Brewing Company and its distillery in 2010. The result of its acquisitions mean the company has owned brands such as Hirsch and Old Potrero in the past, however it sold its majority stake in its distilling operations to Berry Brothers & Rudd in 2020.
