Old Potrero

Old Potrero is a brand of pot-distilled rye whiskey that is owned by Berry Brothers & Rudd and produced by their subsidiary, Hotaling & Co, at its distillery in San Francisco, California. It was first launched in 1996 by the Anchor Brewing Company although its brewing and distilling operations were separated under the ownership of the Griffin Group in 2010. A new division called Anchor Distilling Company was set up by rebranding Preiss Imports, which was again renamed as Hotaling & Co in 2018.

Old Potrero is still produced at the same distillery using a mashbill of 100% malted rye. Its current core range comprises a 6-year-old straight rye and the Single Barrel Reserve.
