Van Winkle Reserves
The Van Winkles Reserves are a brand of American whiskies, first released by the Commonwealth Distillery Co in 1984. Iterations are divided between the Family Reserve and Special Reserve ranges, which are currently represented by a 13- and 12-year-old straight rye and straight bourbon, respectively. They are both now distilled at Buffalo Trace distillery.
A number of different examples of both have been produced in the past however, including sought-after vintage whiskies from Stitzel-Weller distillery, and rye whiskies sourced from Medley.
