One of the shortest-lived distilleries of the modern age, constructed within the Invergordon grain complex in 1965. A malt distillery, its purpose was the provision of fillings for blends however it was quickly deemed surplus to requirements and demolished after just 11 years in operation
Invergordon Distillers
A company was formed to purchase operate the Invergordon grain distillery, and in its time also counted several malt distillers among its portfolio from which it marketed early single malt brands for Bruichladdich, Jura, Tamnavulin and Tullibardine. It is now part of the Whyte & Mackay group.
