A company established as the Burn Stewart Group in 1988 in order to acquire the blending company Burn, Stewart & Co. It became Burn Stewart Distillers PLC in 1991, becoming a limited entity in 2003. As of 2016 is has been part of South African multinational, Distell, and is now known as CVH Spirits.
