Banff 1976 Vintage Hallmark of St James's
Banff
A malt distillery that was located in the Highland region of Scotland and operated until 1983 when it was closed by the Distillers Company. Primarily run for the provision of blended Scotch brands, it has only been officially released once and is generally confined to independent bottlings.
Vintage Hallmark of St. James's
A briefly produced brand of independently bottled Scotch whiskies. It was bottled by the drinks investment company, Vintage Hallmark, for its clients in the US and Canada.
Vintage Hallmark
A UK-based drinks investment company established in 1998 that largely operated in the US and Canada, encouraging clients to buy its own brands of whisky, Cognac and champagne. The project was short-lived however and only a handful of whisky bottlings were produced.
