Balmenach
A malt distillery in Speyside that is part of the Scotch whisky holding of ThaiBev through its subsidiary, Inver House Distillers. The distillery's output is highly-prized by blenders and has never been marketed as its own single malt brand.
Captain Burn's
An unusual brand of independently bottled Scotch whiskies from the French wine and spirits company, Ryst-Dupeyron. It was launched in the 1980s with the earliest releases provided by Gordon & MacPhail. It is still produced with an occasional outturn today.
Ryst-Dupeyron
A historic French distilling company based in the Bordeaux. The business was first established by Joseph Dupeyron in 1905 and it is most famous for its Armagnac brands, however, it also imports and distributes various wines and spirits. Among these is its own whisky brand, Captain Burn's.
