The Ballydoyle Irish Whiskey
A blend of 20% malt and 80% Irish grain whiskey, they were distilled at Cooley and bottled by Halewood through the Irish brand that it operated between 1997 and 2021.
Cooley
An whiskey distillery that broke the hegemony of the Irish Distillers group when it was independently founded by John Teeling in 1987. Today it is part of Suntory Global Spirits and operates a large contract-distilling operated as well as producing its own brands such as Connemara and Tyrconnell.
*Halewood International
A wine and spirits distributor in England, founded by John Halewood in 1978. The company operated under this name until 2016 when the parent company was rebranded as Halewood Wines & Spirits. Today the original business is now an intermediate holding company within Halewood Artisanal Spirits.
