Brora 35 Year Old 2014 Release

An official Brora release from Diageo. Matured for 35 years in a combination of European and America oak casks.

Brora distillery, formerly known as Clynelish has been closed since 1983 when a new distillery was built next-door, and assumed the Clynelish name. The original distillery bottlings are now increasingly sought after.

Limited to only 2964 bottles this is bottle number 946. 

Bowmore 25 Year Old 25th Anniversary / Feis Ile 2010 

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Feis Ile, Bowmore released a mere 100 of these limited edition signed 25 year olds.

This is number 26 of 100 and it is signed by Distillery Manager Eddie MacAffer.

Bowmore 1980 Single Cask 23 Year Old #5777 / Including Still Decanter

A very well presented independent Bowmore, distilled in August 1980 and bottled in July 2004 as a 23 year old from cask #5777.

The story goes that #5777 was one of 12 casks filled when the distillery was woken during planned annual maintenance for a visit from Queen Elizabeth. Officially this visit took place on the 9th August, so we presume the 19th on the label is a mistake.

Bottle number 111 of only 236 bottles, presented in an attractive display case with a copper pot still decanter.

Please note this bottling in an unofficial release. While cask #5777 was filled during the Queen's visit to Bowmore in 1980, this should not to be mistaken with cask #5774, which was released officially in 2011 by Morrison Bowmore for the JTH Charitable Trust.

Bowmore 1988 26 Year Old / Feis Ile 2015

Distilled in September 1988 and the bottled in March 2015. 

This was matured in single cask number #3001 which was a sherry cask.

Brora 30 Year Old 2006 Release

The fifth release of 30 year old Brora released as part of the Special Release series in 2006 by Diageo.

Bottle 1981 of only 2130 bottles.

The 2013 release of Brora, part of Diageo's Super Premium selection was this 35 year old.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This bottle of Brora was distilled in 1975 and matured for 20 years.

A marriage of two traditional whisky casks and four sherry butts created the seventh limited edition Balvenie Tun 1858 for the Taiwanese market. 

As with the Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart.

Distilled in March 1962 and bottled in November 1985 by Cadenhead's as a 23 year old.

Benrinnes was known for it's complex distillation in it's former years.

Bowmore 1982 29 Year Old

Bottled in 2011, this 29 year old Bowmore is presented in a sturdy wooden box.

Bottle number 226 of 501, this lot also includes a certificate of authenticity.

Bowmore 1985 Feis Ile 2012

Released at Feis Ile 2012, this 1985 vintage Bowmore was restricted to only 200 bottles and of that 30 were given to staff.

This very rare 1985 vintage was bottled at cask strength of 52.3%.

William L Weller 2017 Release

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Collection which celebrates historic bourbon brands and figures.

William Larue Weller was a 19th century whiskey rectifier and distiller, who's W.L. Weller and Sons company was run by the legendary Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle. The Weller and Van Winkle brands are both produced at Buffalo Trace distillery nowadays, distilled to very similar old Stitzel-Weller recipes, and are among the most sought after bourbons on the market.

One of approximately 19,000 bottles from 155 handpicked barrels.

The 2017 release of the William L Weller is aged 12 years.

Bunnahabhain 1968 Liquid Sun 43 Year Old

A fantastically well-aged Bunnahabhain.

Distilled in 1968 and matured 43 years in refill sherry wood before being bottled by Liquid Sun in 2011
