This bourbon however was distilled at Buffalo Trace by the Sazerac company, who purchased the brand from United Distillers in 1999. In her book But Always Fine Bourbon, Sally Van Winkle Campbell claims they did not have the exact Weller recipe until their partnership with her brother, Julian Van Winkle III was agreed in 2002. Undoubtedly a nod of approval from the family for the modern day product.

Formerly known as Old Weller, the \"old\" has been dropped on the new packaging. This has been bottled at 107 proof and used to carry a 7 year age statement but this has now been removed.

The brand has grown strongly since then and is still highly popular.  

Wynand Fockink Dry Gin 1960s​

A dry gin produced in Tarragona, Spain on behalf of the Dutch company, Wynand Fockink. 

There are no volume or ABV markings on the bottle. It is approximately 50cl.

The Wild Turkey distillery, then known as Boulevard, was built in 1869 in Tyrone, Kentucky. The name was not Wild Turkey until 1941 when some, shared on a hunting trip, was referred to as \"some of that wild turkey whiskey\". 

This is the classic 8 year old expression, bottled at 101 US proof.

Wolfburn Langskip 

Located in Thurso, this is the northernmost distillery on the UK mainland. Based around a long lost distillery that ended around 1850, this new Wolfburn reopened in 2013.

Bottled in August 2018 this was matured in first fill bourbon casks.

Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select Batch #27

The Woodford Reserve brand is produced by the Brown-Forman company, typically using column still whiskey from their Shively distillery, and pot still whiskey from the historic Woodford Reserve distillery in Versailles (formerly Old Oscar Pepper, and Labrot & Graham), which they re-opened in 1993.
