Single cask #42 this is bottle number 88 of 195.

Ardbeg & Craigellachie Douglas Laing Double Barrel

A blended malt produced using two casks of whisky, one from Ardbeg, and another from Craigellachie.

These are then married together in a single cask.

Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask Batch #3

An Arran matured in smaller quarter casks. These smaller casks have more wood contact creating more flavour. Bottled in September 2017. One of 13,800 bottles. 

The Arran Single Malt selected for \"The Bothy\" was initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels before being transferred for secondary maturation into smaller American oak casks for a minimum of 18 months. This process created greater contact between the Whisky and the oak and a much more intense maturation. The end result is a full-bodied expression of the Arran Malt, combing power and finesse full of rich vanilla sweetness and  bold peppery spice. Bottling at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring presents this Whisky in its purest form.

Aultmore 2005 Gordon and MacPhail

This Aultmore was distilled in September 2005 and matured in refill bourbon barrel #306928.

Bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in September 2016 as part of their Exclusive single cask range.

One of 298 bottles. 

Arran Amarone Cask Finish

Arran malt finished in a Red Wine and Amarone casks, developing flavours of Cherry, Dark Chocolate, and Turkish Delight! Adding a little Italian class to the this superb Island dram.

Amrut Fusion

A fusion of Scottish and Indian barleys with some being peated. 

They must have done something right because this is one of the most awarded whiskies of recent memory. 

Ancient Age Kentucky Straight Bourbon 86 Proof 1980s

Jim Murray is a fan of this brand, however this is apparently hard to find outside of Kentucky.

Ancient Age was introduced in 1938 by the Schenley company, at what was then known as George T. Stagg distillery. A Japanese firm known as Age International purchased the distillery and brand in 1983, renaming the former as Ancient Age distillery.

This was bottled in the 1980s, shortly after the Age International takeover. The Sazerac company purchased the distillery in 1992, and although they still produce the Ancient Age brand, they replaced it as their flagship product in 1999, renaming the distillery Buffalo Trace, and launching a bourbon of the same name a few months later.

Japanese import.

Auchentoshan 18 Year Old

An 18 year old expression from the Scotch maestros of triple distillation, Auchentoshan. 

Matured in bourbon casks. 

Amrut Fusion

This range of Indian single malts has made a big splash worldwide, with one of their cask strength releases getting 93.5 points from self-proclaimed whisky god Jim Murray in his Whisky Bible.  

This is a cask strength release. 

Ardbeg 10 Year Old Gift Pack / Including Uigeadail and Corryvreckan Miniatures

The Ardbeg Distillery lies on the most Southernly part of Islay and on the rugged shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Ardberg is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex whisky of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat: rather the peat gives way to the malt, the natural sweetness of which subtly intrudes, producing perfect balance. 

Typically most whiskies are chill-filtered and reduced to a strength of 40% abv. Ardbeg Ten Years Old, however, is Non Chill-Filtered and has a strength of 46% abv, thus retaining maximum Flavour, at the same time giving more body and added depth. On adding water a little cloudiness may occur which is Perfectly Natural and is not a matter for concern.

Matured in bourbon casks. 

Auchentoshan The Bartender's Malt Limited Edition #01

A new release from Auchentoshan, brought to fruition by a group of 12 Bartenders from around the world after collaborating their newly found knowledge on Whisky production. They've given themselves the cool name, \"The New Malt Order.\"

The first edition from what will be an annual release.

AnCnoc Rascan

Knochdhu distillery normally produces light mellow spirit, these newer expressions are named after peat cutting tools and have a flavour to match. 

The bottle clearly shows the PPM (phenol parts per million) of the liquid in the bottle which when tasted may force you to re-evaluate what you think you know about peatiness. 

The Rascan is 11.1ppm and this bottle has been labelled for the Taiwanese market. 

Arran 1998 Robert Burns 250th Anniversary Edition

A 1998 vintage Arran bottled in 2009 to mark the 250th birthday of our nations bard, endorsed by the World Burns Federation.

6,000 bottles were produced.

Auchroisk 10 Year Old Douglas Laing Premier Barrel

An independently bottled Auchroisk by Douglas Laing, presented in an attractive decanter.

Auchroisk 10 Year Old Flora and Fauna

The 10 year old Auchroisk, Flora and Fauna is not widely available and becoming harder and harder to find.

Distillers Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s.
