Brora 30 Year Old Cask Strength 2010 Release

The 9th release of Brora 30 year old from Diageo, bottled in 2010 as part of their annual Super Premium releases.

Brora distillery, formerly known as Clynelish has been closed since 1983 when a new distillery was built next-door and assumed the Clynelish name. The original distillery bottlings are now increasingly sought after.

Irish Single Malt 1990 Whisky Agency 28 Year Old / 10th Anniversary

This Irish single malt was distilled in 1990, and bottled for The Whisky Agency in Germany.

This is a Whisky Agency 10th anniversary bottling, and was released in 2018.

Matured for 28 years in sherry wood.

Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish

A fantastic special release from Islay's oldest distillery, matured in Japan's rarest casks. This Bowmore has been fully matured in Mizunara oak, which has travelled 6000 miles from Japan to the distillery warehouses.

An extremely rare no-age statement bottling of Balblair by Gordon & MacPhail in the 1970's.

Bowmore 1990 25 Year Old / Feis Ile 2016

The more mature and limited release from Feis Ile 2016, which as per usual sold out well before opening!  

Distilled on 17th May 1990 and bottled on 24th February 2016 after a finishing period in a Claret wine cask.

Banff 1976 Cadenhead's 40 Year Old

A special single cask bottling of Banff from Cadenhead's, part of their 175th anniversary range in 2017.

Distilled at the now closed distillery in 1976 and bottled from a single bourbon hogshead at 40 years old.

One of 192 bottles.

Bowmore 1988 Sherry Cask 26 Year Old / Feis Ile 2015

Distilled in September 1988 and the bottled in March 2015. 

This was matured in single cask number #3001 which was a sherry cask.

Bruichladdich 1985 Rare Cask Series 32 Year Old / Hidden Glory - Signed

A bourbon cask bottling of Bruichladdich called Hidden Glory. Part of the Rare Cask Series, this has been aged for 32 years.

This is comprised of the final 22 casks of the 1985 vintage, matured first in third fill bourbon casks before being refilled into fresh bourbon by Jim McEwan in 2012. The liquid then had a final finish in French oak from one of the \"greatest\" (undisclosed) French Chateaux.

Bottle number 3282 of 4200. 

This bottle is hand-signed by Master Distiller, Adam Hannet.

Balvenie Tun 1858 Batch #7

A marriage of two traditional whisky casks and four sherry butts created the seventh limited edition Balvenie Tun 1858 for the Taiwanese market. 

As with the Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart.

Bowmore 25 Year Old The Gulls 

One of the many legends of Bowmore.

Back in the day, When the Scots travelled from their Celtic lands to create the Kingdom of Dalriada-in-Alban, the Pictish and Brythonic tribes who already lived in the lands resisted fiercely. Legend says that the daughter of a Pictish King fell in love with a captured Scottish warrior and helped him escape. Together they fled westwards to Islay. Rowing towards the young warrior's home on the shores of Loch Indaal, a terrible storm assaulted their boat, sending it crashing into the rocky coast line.

The young Scot's clansmen found only debris and no sign of the lovers - but a pair of white gulls soared and swooped together across the Loch, settling neither on the western nor the eastern shore, as if torn between the two.

... on the whisky front, this is a 25 year old Bowmore presented in a stunning blue decanter with a stylish box.

Inchgower 1959 Cadenhead's 19 Year Old

As Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead’s have long been known for releasing stunning whiskies but none more so than those from their famous ‘dumpy’ series, which features some incredible 1950s and 60s vintages.  Whisky from this bygone era of production have become increasingly elusive in recent years, making them exceptionally desirable. 

This Inchgower was distilled in December 1959 and bottled in December 1978 .

Balvenie 1974 Single Barrel 25 Year Old #15015

The popular 25 year old single barrel release from Balvenie.

Distilled on 7th November 1974 and bottled by hand on 16th October 2000 from single cask #15015.

This bottle carries the number 47.

Ben Nevis 1968 Jack Wiebers 42 Year Old

A limited edition 1965 vintage Ben Nevis, bottled for Jack Wiebers Whisky World in Germany.

Aged an impressive 42 years in a bourbon cask before bottling in October 2010.

Banff 1971 Dead Whisky Society 37 Year Old

A 37 year old whisky from the closed Banff distillery. 

Distilled at Banff on the 4th March 1971, and bottled from cask #633 on the 6th of August 2008 within the Dead Whisky Society range of whiskies.

Brora 1982 Silver Seal 19 Year Old / First Bottling

A Silver Seal bottling of Brora, distilled in March 1982 and bottled in September 2001. The distillery closed the year after this was distilled.

This is the first bottling of Brora from Silver Seal Company, who were founded by Ernesto Mainardi in 2000. This was Mainardi's second bottling company after the esteemed Sestane in 1979. Both companies were sold to Massimo Righi in 2010, with Ernesto's original releases becoming increasingly prized possessions.

Bowmore 1981 28 Year Old

Bowmore 1981 is the first in Bowmore's Vintage Series, distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2010.

One of only 402 bottles. 

Bowmore 1989 24 Year Old / Feis Ile 2014 

A very popular release at Feis Ile 2014.

This particular bottling was a combination of two casks both from 1989, a first fill French oak wine barrique and a first fill American bourbon barrel. This 24 year old whisky was limited to a mere 300 bottles which sold out by 2pm on the Bowmore open day.

Bruichladdich 15 Year Old Samaroli's Collection / Mayflower '80

Bruichladdich 15 year old in a stoneware decanter depicting the Mayflower departing Plymouth in 1620, sails set for \"The New World.\"

This decanter was bottled in 1980 to celebrate the 360th anniversary of the event. This is the only decanter that Silvano Samaroli ever bottled. A real rarity.

Ben Nevis 1963 Douglas Laing 40 Year Old

A single cask bottling from Ben Nevis distillery, produced by Douglas Laing as part of their Old & Rare Platinum Collection.

Distilled in 1963 and bottled in 2004 at 40 years old after a 6 month finishing period in sherry wood.

Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #5

From the distillery website the Balvenie Tun 1401, Batch 5 is a skillful marriage of some of the rarest treasures from the distillery’s Warehouse 24 – an unrepeatable selection of spirits sourced from seven traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts, whose ages span a number of decades, and which have all been hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. The whisky was rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel – to create a single malt that enhances its already precious parts.

Batch 5 was released in the UK market and is now completely sold out.

Limited to 2862 bottles.

From Lombard independent bottling company, released within their Jewels Of Scotland range, this rare Brora single malt was distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2003.

Bruichladdich 1986 Rare Cask Series 30 Year Old / The Magnificent Seven​​ - Signed

A sherry cask bottling of Bruichladdich called The Magnificent Seven. Part of the Rare Cask Series, this has been aged for 30 years.

This is comprised of the final seven casks of the 1986 vintage, matured first in Oloroso sherry butts before being finished in a parcel of PX butts from winemaker Jan Pettersen at Bodega Fernando de Castilla.
