Inchgower 1976 Rare Malt 27 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1976 and bottled as a 27 year old, there were only two releases of Inchgower under the Rare Malt Selection.

This Invergordon was released to celebrate the distilleries 50th year of production in 2011.

This single grain contains whiskies from the first cask (number 1) filled on the first day of production back on the 22nd of July 1961, it also contains 1973 Invergordon among others from the distillery.

Cutty Sark Tam O'Shanter 25 Year Old

A 25 year old release of Cutty Sark, released to celebrate Burns Night 2012.

It's named for one of Burns's most famous poems, the  Tam O'Shanter. The whisky comes in an impressive wooden box depicting images from the poem

Included is a fantastic book featuring the full text of the poem, some history and a selection of art inspired by the story.

This is the first limited edition selected by Cutty Sark Master Blender Kirsteen Campbell.

They hold probably the largest stocks of fine and rare Armagnacs in the region, and have a reputation for being classic Bas Armagnacs in character.

Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery has be producing malts for a while now, this was released in 2013 and is made from various vinatges from 2008 onwards. All matured in bourbon casks then finished in Mizunara.

Corton Pougets 1969 Grand Cru

In the area Aloxe-Corton, in the north of the Côte de Beaune, over half of the vineyard area is Grand Cru vineyards. The Grand Cru vineyard of Les Pougets is next to Le Charlemagne. The Pinot Noir grapes are fermented in vats for up to 4 weeks, and then the wine is matured for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels.

Croizet Bonhaparte 'B' Fine Champagne Cognac

Croizet was founded in 1805 by Leon Croizet. The house owns 58 hectares of vineyard in the top Grande Champagne cru, and became famous when a bottle of its Cuvee Leonie (from the 1858 vintage) sold for more than £100,000 at auction in 2011.

This extremely rare example is estimated to from the 1960s

A vatting of the closed Japanese distillery of Hanyu with that of the relatively young distillery of Chichibu, where this whisky was matured, married and bottled.

The whiskies were matured in Mizunara Oak casks (Japanese Oak).

Cragganmore / Creditable 1975 Douglas Laing 25 Year Old

An interesting independant bottling of Cragganmore from Douglas laing, bottled under the name 'Creditable' to prevent any issues with copyright.

Distilled in june 1975 and bottled in February 2001 at 27 years old, we rarely see whisky from Cragganmore at this age, which makes this quite a rarity indeed.

The bottles will be checked-in, authenticated, photographed, and then listed into the next available auction, or an auction of your choice, by our expert team. Whisky Auctioneer hosts monthly auctions, where registered users from across the globe can bid on bottles via our website.  

After the auction closing date, the highest bidder will be notified by email. Payment is required within 72hrs. The buyer can then choose to ship, store, or collect the bottle(s). Buyer fees are applied during the online checkout process.  

The seller will receive payment within 21 working days of the end of the auction, directly to their chosen bank account. Seller fees will be applied to the seller’s invoice after the auction.
