Glenfarclas 1953 Single Cask 58 Year Old

So few whiskies of this age are available these days, even Glenfarclas has no whisky remaining older than 1953. The whisky was distilled on 20th November 1953 and bottled on 13th February 2012, matured exclusively in a first fill sherry butt #1674.

A panel comprising of Serge Valentin, a whisky connoisseur and a key member of the internationally renowned Malt Maniacs, Ben Ellefsen, Sales Director for Master of Malt, Michał Kowalski of Wealth Solutions and George Grant himself, unanimously made the selection from the remaining 4 casks distilled in 1953 and cask #1674 was selected to be bottled.

This single cask bottling was released at 58 years old and sold exclusively through the Wealth Solutions, Poland.

Glenfarclas 1963 / William & Son Cabinet

A very exclusive item containing Glenfarclas 1963 Family Cask presented in a rifle and shotgun cleaning kit created by William & Son, London.

William & Son are crafters of shotguns and rifles and this kit has been created to their exceptional standards. 

The Glenfarclas Family Cask was distillled in 1963 and bottled in October 2011, matured in in Sherry Hogshead number 179. 

Only 20 of these stunning cabinets were produced.

Please note this item will have the postage charge of four regular bottles, due to the weight.

Hennessy Timeless / Baccarat Crystal Decanter

We are lucky to have an amazing selection of Cognac in our latest auction, this is perhaps the pinnacle of the selection.  

The Hennessy Timeless was created in 1999 to showcase Hennessy's past and future and is presented in a beautiful and elegant Baccarat crystal decanter.

Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, Captain in the French Army. It took Hennessy just a few years to dominate the market and actually they have never lost their leading position since. Hennessy house the most impressive collection of vintage Cognac's within their cellar, this cognac was carefully crafted using a combination of the finest 11 vintages from the 20th century:

Hanyu 1988 Jack of Diamonds Cask #9103

The Jack of Diamonds was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2006.

Matured in a hogshead before a second period of maturation in a french cognac cask.

This is bottle number 65 of 555. 

Glenfiddich 1964 Private Vintage 

A single cask bottling of 1964 vintage, which was selected by Glenfiddich's Malt Master.

Single cask 13430 was matured for 42 years then hand bottled on 26th July 2006 and presented in a crafted cherry wood box.

Hanyu 1986 King of Hearts Single Cask #9033

Hanyu is a closed Japanese distillery that received a new lease of life from Ichiro Akuto, who bottled the last of the stock in the iconic card range. 

Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2009, after being aged in a hogshead then finished in a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt.

Hanyu/Kawasaki 25 Year Old Kiyosato Field Ballet 26th Anniversary

A very rare and collectible marriage of two lost Japanese distilleries: this very limited blended whisky contains 1990 Hanyu and 1982 Kawasaki.

The Hanyu was a 25 Year Old and the Kawasaki was a 33 year old.

Highland Park 1968 / Orcadian Vintage 

Following the release of the 1964 Orcadian Vintage, the 1968 followed suit in November 2009.

This was a vatting of eight hogsheads, which yielded only 1,550 bottles.  

The presentation as always with Highland Park is spectacular, a hard wood case with a silver Highland Park amulet logo inlay and a stunning black glass bottle.

Hanyu 2000 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #7000 / Three of Spades​

One of the legendary highly sought after Ichiro's Card series from Hanyu.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2007, matured in a hogshead and finished in a 'New American oak hogshead'.

Hanyu 1990 Queen of Spades #466

Part of Ichiro's legenday card series. This was initially matured in a bourbon hogshead before being transfered to a port pipe.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2009.

This is bottle 372 of 737.

Hanyu 1991 Ichiro's Malt 'Card' #401 / Nine of Clubs​

Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2011 from cask number 401. 

Initially matured in hogshead prior to being finished in Bourbon barrels.

Glenugie 1966 Samaroli 33 Year Old / only 108 bottles

A very rare bottling of Glenugie by the legendary bottler Samaroli.

This incredibly rare Glenugie is rarely seen at auction and that is not suprising as only 108 bottles were released in 1999 from single cask #5822.

The condition is excellent, fill level in mid-neck.

Glenfarclas 1958 Signatory Vintage 40 Year Old

Distilled on the 19th of September 1958 and aged for 40 years in a Spanish sherry butt number 2232 until bottling by Signatory on the 30th of November 1998.  

This was released to celebrate Signatory Vintage's 10th birthday in 1998. Includes a certificate, miniature, and glass stopper.

Highland Park 40 Year Old

First released in April 2008, this is a delicious older offering from Scotland's Northern most distillery. 

The packaging is exquisite with glassware produced by Stölzle Flaconnage and a beautifully crafted wooden box produced by Mount Gabriel.

Glenfiddich 1964 J & J Hunter

An independently bottled Glenfiddich matured in sherry butt number 10790 . . that's fairly uncommon!

This was bottled at cask strength in 1992 by J & J Hunter Ltd of Balmoral Road, Belfast.

The 54th and final bottling in Ichiro's Card Series.

There are two Joker's released to complete the 54 bottle series, one in colour and one in Black and White.  This particular bottling is the Colour Joker, a vatting of 14 casks covering vintages from 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2000.  The casks used for this final bottling include a sherry butt, puncheon, hogshead, Cognac, chibidaru, Madeira hogshead and bourbon.

Only 3,690 bottles of this highly anticipated whisky have been made available.

A very rare Glenfarclas bottled in their Historic Reserve collection, this is the original release No.1.

Bottled from casks #3232-3235, only 240 bottles were released.

Hibiki 21 Year Old Mount Fuji and 17 Year Old Kacho Fugetso / Mount Fuji 3 x 70cl

This lot comprises of three Hibiki's, two 17 year old and one 21 year old Limited Edition bottlings.  Please refer to the image for the specifics.

To Commemorate Mount Fuji the highest peak in Japan getting added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 2013, Suntory released this special edition. 

The Hibiki whose bottle always has  24 facets representing the 24 seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar has been redecorated with a painting of a scenic view of Mount Fuji.

Highland Park 1961 Dragon

A legendary highland park, distilled in 1961 and bottled in 1997, this is a 36 year old Highland Park that was matured in single Oloroso sherry cask number 4493. 

The Dragon from which this whisky takes its name comes from the 12th century carving in Maes Howe neolithic tomb, Orkney.

One of 216 bottles.

Hibiki 17 and 21  Year Old Mount Fuji 1st Edition

Glenflagler 1970 Signatory Vintage 23 Year Old

This is a rare Signatory vintage bottling of this long lost distillery that was once part of the Moffat distilling complex.

Distilled on 6th November 1970 and bottled in July 1994 from casks number #1260 and #7861.

Glenfarclas 1967 2011 Festival Reserve

Distilled in 1967 and bottled for the 2011 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. 

A 43 year old cask strength release.

Hakushu 1981 and 1991 Kioke Shiome 7 x 75cl

4 x Hakushu 1981 \"Kioke Shiomi\" Pure Malt 

There is a great deal of debate as to whether or not this is a single malt, Suntory were renowned for using the term \"Pure Malt\" for both single malts and blended malts and a high number of bloggers have stated that this is 100% Hakushu. 

The translation of ‘Kioke Shikomi’ seems strange because although it means “matured in a wooden tub”, 'kioke’ normally refers to a tub used for making sake.

3 x Hakushu 1991 \"Furudaru Shiage\" Pure Malt 

There is a great deal of debate as to whether or not this is a single malt, Suntory were renowned for using the term \"Pure Malt\" for both single malts and blended malts and a high number of bloggers have stated that this is 100% Hakushu. 

The translation of ‘Furudaru Shiage’ means old barrel finish, there is also some text to imply that it has been filtered through bamboo charcoal.
