Ichiro's Malt & Grain Kiyosato Field Ballet 26th Anniversary Hardcover Edition / Hanyu & Kawasaki

A very rare and collectible marriage of two lost Japanese distilleries: this very limited blended whisky contains 1990 Hanyu and 1982 Kawasaki.

The Hanyu was a 25 year old and the Kawasaki was a 33 year old. 

Bottle number 128 of 700 bottles, however there were only 200 of the hardcover editions released which features a blown glass bottle from Kobei Komaki and stopper.

Imperial 1962 Cadenhead's 21 Year Old Sherry Wood / US Import

Cadenhead's are Scotland's oldest independent bottler, operating for over 175 years, but perhaps none of their bottlings are as sought after as these 'dumpy' style bottles. All of these were produced with brown glass and an iconic black label, with each distillery given its own letterpress font in homage to William Cadenhead's early career in the printing business.

This Imperial was distilled in May 1962, matured in sherry wood and bottled in March 1984.

Ichiro's Malt and Grain Maduro Single Cask / Grand Hyatt Tokyo

The Maduro blend is a vatting of 10 to 20 year vintage whiskies from five countries – Japan, Ireland, Scotland, Canada and the US. The blend was left to mature in a French oak wine barrel for three years.

This is a limited release, produced exclsuively for the Grand Hyatt Tokyo's Maduro jazz lounge.

Inverleven 1979 Duncan Taylor 24 Year Old

A December 1979 vintage from closed Lowland distillery Inverleven, bottled by independent bottler Duncan Taylor in September 2008. Part of their Rarest of the Rare series which spotlights Scotland's closed distilleries.

Duncan Taylor was founded in Glasgow in 1938 as a cask broker and trading company. Its modern history began in 2001 when a former Glendronach employee, Euan Shand, purchased the firm and moved it to Huntly in Aberdeenshire, using the impressive cask portfolio it has amassed over the 20th century to become one of the premier independent bottlers in Scotland.

Invergordon 1966 Adelphi 46 Year Old

If you haven't heard, old grain whisky can be fantastic! This very well-aged expression from Invergordon distillery. It was distilled in 1966 and bottled in 2012. 

This is one of 257 bottles drawn from cask #4.

Adelphi has a rich history, operating as a distillery in the Gorbals district of Glasgow from 1825, producing spirit from the waters of Loch Katrine. The distillery ceased production in the early 20th century however and several changes in ownership culminating in a takeover by Distillers Company Ltd in 1902. The Adelphi name was revived in 1993 by Jamie Walker, great-grandson of former distillery owner Archibald. With a lineage of whisky expertise he operated Adelphi as private bottling company, which now in the hands of Keith Falconer and David Houston, continues the fine work he began of bottling top quality expressions from Scotland's finest distilleries.

Imperial 1989 Carn Mor

This is a Celebration of the Cask bottling, the single cask sub-category of Morrison & Mackay's Carn Mor label. Morrison & Mackay are a Perth-based company, producing a number of whisky liqueurs as well as independent single malts and blends, including the popular recently revived Old Perth. In 2017 the firm completed the construction of the Aberargie distillery in the town of the same name.

This Imperial was distilled in December 1989 and matured in bourbon barrel #2892.

Distilled in 1973, this was selected by and jointly bottled for Sansibar in Germany and Spirits Shop' Selection in Taiwan, at 42 years old.

One of only 240 bottles drawn from a bourbon cask.

Sansibar Whisky is a German independent bottler, specialising in Scotch, Japanese whisky and rum. Founded by connoisseur, Jens Drewitz, he tastes and hand-selects almost every cask he purchases, on site at the distilleries. An impressive eye for quality, Sansibar have also supported other small independents, acting as the exclusive German distributor for Glasgow's North Star, and Hidden Spirits in Italy, the second bottling endeavour from legendary Intertrade founder, Nadi Fiori.

A well-aged independent bottling of Invergordon single grain by Hunter Laing, part of their Sovereign series.

Distilled in July 1973 and bottled in November 2018 from bourbon barrel #HL15560.

Distilled in 1973, this was selected by and bottled for Sansibar in Germany at 44 years old.

One of only 275 bottles.

An independent single grain bottling from Invergordon distillery. Distilled in 1972 and matured for 45 years in a refill barrel. 

Edition Spirits was founded in 2010 by Scott and Andrew Laing, the sons of Douglas Laing founder, Stewart. When he left Douglas Laing to establish the new Hunter Laing company in 2013, he was joined by his sons who made Edition Spirits one of its operating arms, along with Langside Distillers.

I.W. Harper 130 Month Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Barrel Decanter 1980s

The I.W. prefix in this brand name derives from Isaac Wolfe Bernheim, who founded the brand. With his brother he helped establish Louisville in Kentucky as a centre for Bourbon production. Sadly, he felt Harper was a more marketable name than his own to apply to the bottles. 

This was distilled and bottled at the Bernheim distillery in Louisville by the Schenley company.

Schenley were eventually bought over by United Distillers in 1987 who discontinued the I.W. Harper brand in the US shortly after, selling it only abroad. The modern iteration of United Distillers, Diageo, revived the US version of the brand in 2015, although it is no longer made at Bernheim, which was sold to Heaven Hill in 1999.

Invergordon 1974 Single Cask Nation 43 Year Old 75cl / US Exclusive

An independently bottled Invergordon single grain by the Jewish Whisky Company in the US.

Distilled June 1974 and bottled November 2017. 

One of only 196 bottles.
