Arran 21st Anniversary Limited Edition

A fantastic limited edition Arran, bottled to celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Arran distillery.  

A limited release of 5,988 bottles were produced from a selection of ex-sherry hogsheads from the first three years production of the distillery.

Aberlour 1998 Single Cask 18 Year Old #7317 50cl / Distillery Exclusive

This single cask Aberlour was distilled on the 10th December 1998 and matured in 2nd Fill Sherry Butt #7317 for 18 years.

Bottle number 44 of only 828 available exclusively from Aberlour distillery. 

Antiquary 1960s

An old bottle of Antiquary for the Italian market that predates their famous angular bottle.

Arran 1996 Single Sherry Cask #1968​

Distilled on the 11th of December 1996 and bottled in October 2012 after maturation in a sherry butt.

Isle of Arran Distillery is one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland. The Distillery is in the village of Lochranza on the Norh-West tip of the Isle of Arran, where it is perfectly situated to capture the character of the beautiful island of pure mountain water and soft sea air washed by the Gulf stream. This hand-crafted malt has no added artificial colouring and is not chill-filtered at the bottling stage, thus ensuring  a completely natural Whisky which retains the full range of aromas and flavours which typify the Arran malt.

Arran Devil’s Punch Bowl Chapter III           

Released in 2014, Arran’s third and final edition of the Devil's Punch Bowl

A vatting consisting of 21 casks; 8 of which are Oloroso Sherry casks, 8 French Oak barriques and 5 bourbon casks. Following Chapter I and II, only 6,660 bottles were released.

A vatting consisting of 21 casks; 8 of which are Oloroso Sherry casks, 8 French Oak barriques and 5 bourbon casks. Following Chapter I and II, only 6,660 bottles were released.

Arran 2005 Private Cask 11 Year Old / Sostitium Aestivum​

Distilled on 10th Novemeber 2005 and matured in single cask #2005/800544 before being bottled on 8th December 2016.

Ardbeg Dark Cove

The Feis Ile release for 2016, this has been matured in ex-Bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. 

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay. Many islanders were involved in this activity, including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery. 

This is the general release, a more available lower ABV edition launched for Ardbeg Day/Night. 

Ardbeg Blasda

This tamed version of Ardbeg was peated to an average of 8ppm compared to the more usual 24ppm.  Rather controversially, the Blasda was also bottled in clear glass, at 40% and has been chill filtered, un-like Ardbeg's other releases which are typically un-chill filtered and bottled in the iconic green bottle at 46% or above. Now discontinued and becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Ardbeg Perpetuum Bicentenary Release

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the legendary Islay distillery. This is the standard 47.4% release which was released during Feis Ile 2015.

Perpetuum is a blend of old and young whisky which has been matured in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.

Ardbeg Blasda

A rare Signatory Vintage bottling of Aberfeldy, distilled in August 1978, and bottled from casks #5032 & #5033 in August 1997.

Arran 2005 Single Cask / Malt & Music Festival 2015

A limited bottling of Arran released for the Arran Malt and Music Festival 2015.

Distilled on the 1st August 2005 and bottled on 3rd June 2015 from a single French Oak Barrique #2005/22

Arran 1996 Royal Marines 17 Year Old / 350th Anniversary​

An independent bottling of Arran exclusivly bottled for the 350th anniversary of the Royal Marines in 2014.

Distilled in 1997 and bottled on 21st July 2014 from single cask #2122.

Arran 1999 The Eagle 'Icons of Arran' 

Drawn from a combination of 14 bourbon barrels and 7 sherry hogsheads, selected by Arran's Master Distiller James MacTaggart.

Only 6,000 bottles were released worldwide, the fourth in the Icon's of Arran series, chosen because of the pair of Golden Eagles nesting above Lochranza.

An independent bottling of Auchroisk by Cadenhead's, part of their Authentic Collection.

This was distilled in 1989 and bottled 16 years later from a single butt in September 2006.

Launched on 31st May 2014 on 'Ardbeg Day' which coincides with 'Ardbeg Day' at the Islay Festival.  

The Auriverdes (Auri = Gold and Verdes = Green) is named after the Brazilian sports teams colours whilst also referring to Ardbeg's iconic green bottle and the 'golden' whisky inside.
